Aquarius groaned at the sight of red and pink everywhere. She knew what it meant when she sees roses hung with the pink streamers, the hearts that decorated anything glass and concrete, the sickening sight of couples openly expressing their affection for each other (well, that's everyday, but I think you get my gist).
Yep, it was the cursed day known as Valentine's Day.
Usually, the blue-haired girl wouldn't care about this day. She'd just spend with her two best friends, taking whatever sweets were on sale and embarrassing couples that make out in front of them. But this year, there was a problem.
This morning, it was normal. She was going to head out with Sagittarius and Gemini to do their yearly pranks on the day of love. But once Aquarius opened the door, there standing in front of there, was Scorpio. It scared the air sign at first, to see that redhead girl had been standing there in front of her own house for who knows how long, and her dog wasn't barking at this.
Scorpio only shrugged and told Aquarius that she wanted to talk to Sag. This confused the girl at first, but the blush on the water sign's face was enough to tell what it was about. Sagittarius walked out to talk to Scorpio, leaving both Aquarius and Gemini waiting.
Then, about an hour later, the two air signs got impatient and checked outside. Both the fire and water signs were gone, leaving the two to know that they have been ditched. Aquarius got pissed at this, but Gemini told her to wave it off, saying love is just that weird.
So the two air signs went out as a duo, ready to have some fun as just two girls that are just that independent.
But then, when they reached the mall, Aquarius and Gemini got stopped by Leo. Well, only Gemini since she got tackled by the fire sign. Aquarius looked ready to beat up the blonde guy, especially when he gave her best friend roses.
Gemini looked surprised at the gestured, even blushed a little, but she tried to deny the confession of the lion sign. Aquarius knew Gem did that for her, so she told Gemini she could go with Leo, knowing about her own little crush on the fire sign.
Gemini looked hesitant, but gave in when Aquarius insisted and Leo was already taking her away. Aquarius watched as the new couple walked away, Leo already making her best friend laugh at something, before she walked away.
And that's how Aquarius ended up in the mall, alone, surrounded by couples everywhere.
She was even too afraid to look up from the ground, knowing that no matter what direction she takes, there will be a couple there. She already saw Pisces dragging Capricorn to a store, and Taurus and Virgo making out. Ugh, she shouldn't have gotten up from bed.
She let out a sigh, exiting the mall she originally intended to go. If there's one thing she hates more than crowds, it's couples. But that's probably because she never experienced a relationship before.
Well....she will always have the ground.....which was Virgo.......which means she can't it since Taurus is occupying her....so NEVER MIND.
She walked into a park, just when it started sprinkling a bit. Ah, more cliché stuff you see in movies when you have a lonely girl in a romance tragic. Yep...... *cries in the corner*
