There was always a big problem when it came to getting someone's attention. Especially a very uninterested persons attention. "Annie! What if-" "No" The short female continued walking back to the girls dorms.
Y/n sighed and watched the female disappear off into the night. You were determined to get Annie to say yes for a date with you. Eventually going to the (girls/guys) dorms you went to change into the proper attire and then lay in the hay filled blanketed beds. "Oh my god blow out your god damned candle!" someone yelled as they threw a glare your way.
Doing so, you finally retired for the night.
"Are you finally going to ask her today?" Bertholdt and Reiner turned their attention to their friend in front of them. They were extra curious. " Of course I am. Why wouldn't I! I want her to say yes!" Sneering at the two males in front of you, you fasten your pace to go get breakfast. "But what if she says no? What would you do then?"
"I'd continue to ask her out on a date. She's all I really care about." Reiner and Bert turned and looked at each other, as if they came up with a plan. Not letting you in on it, they just nodded to each other and walked in a different direction then the Mess Hall.
"Annie! You can't just slack off during training like this!" Reiner smirked, knowing he got her attention for the second time. "Don't you agree (Y/N)?" he slapped his hand on your back and pushed you forward towards the glaring girl. "No-uh- I.." Multiple stutters fell from your mouth.
"Well,tell me what you so desperately have to say Y/N." Annie spoke intimidatingly. She clearly wasn't in the mood right now. "Annie...I don't think that you're skipping out on training... but I want to challenge you to something."
She was intrigued very much, showing by her glare that had lightened up and how she took a step back to examine Y/n's face. "Go on..." "If you beat me at trying to retrieve the knife from me, I will forever stop trying to ask you out on dates. But if you don't beat me at retrieving the knife, you have to go on one date with me tonight!"
Annie thought through this all for a minute then she nodded carefully. "Deal."

The knife was down below in your right hand, able for Annie to kick you in the shin and grab it.
After minutes passed, you would avoid Annie's obvious moves to your legs. While she was about to kick you in the shoulder, you grabbed her tiny foot and with her losing balance she fell to the ground. "Ooohh Annie lost at her own game! How tragic!" Reiner makes a comment and begins to laugh his ass off.
Annie grumbled a cute pout placed on her pale face. "Aw don't be mad Annie! You were extremely amazing. I thought you were going to win!" The (fe)male smiled at Annie and helped her up." Thanks Y/N. I guess I owe you for the date now..." a tiny blush was tainting her cheeks.
Upon going back to get ready for the date around 8 pm, Y/n rushed with getting everything perfect but finally everything was. "Alright. Now open up your eyes Annie!" When opening her eyes she was greeted with a grassy land and trees but a beautiful little stream and a white cloth table with candles that had illuminated the stream.
Annie wore a simple red dress with small red heels with her hair down. "You look beautiful tonight..."Complimenting her a blush appear. She mumbled a quiet thanks in reply.
After sitting and eating the real question popped up from Annie. "Why exactly are you so attracted to me? Why are you determined to get a date with me after I continuously say no?" Swallowing hard, Y/n sighed, glad that she asked that.
"I'm attracted to you because you're the first person who would ever give me a chance after I had fallen down! You were the first person to ever tell me to get stronger and to actually help me achieve my goal. You're the girl I can look into your eyes and tell when you're falling apart. I'm attracted to you because you're different, smart, beautiful and not so full of yourself. You especially don't let the titans change who you really are." Taking a deep breath you continued, knowing you've actually caught Annie's attention. But everything you had said was true.
"I'm determined to always get a date with you because I wanna know more about you, I wanna grow with you. I'm simply in love with you." Annie gasped. "Y/n... you can't be in love with me! It just simply wouldn't work out," Getting up from the table she began to walk away.
"Why do you always leave me? At least tell me why you can't love me back?" You say standing up now. Annie, not facing you sighed. "Because..We're from two different worlds, why can't you see that I don't need you in my life? I can't love you because I hate you."
