It was dawn and the sun twinkled outside, I guessed it was around six 'o' clock.
"Everyone wake uuup! It's time to train and explain! And not in that order! But first, get cleaned up and then come out to the kitchen for breakfast!"
The girl walked into my room and laughed at the five of us all squished in my bed.
I shooed everyone out and explored the closet to find a few pairs of different colored khakis and about five different colored tank tops. I chose a white top and tan khaki shorts. I grabbed the rest of the clothes I needed and brought them into the large bathroom with me, a huge shower stood in front of me. Probably ten feet wide and long.
I sighed in relaxation when the hot water hit my skin in little droplets so forcefully, it was the first time I felt safe, other than when Sev was with me.
There were a few things I could do to control the water, I could change the heat with buttons that had up and down arrows, and I could change the pressure in which the water came down, also with up and down buttons.
There were a vast selection of shampoos, conditioners, and soap scrubs, body wash, shaving cream, razors, and a lot of other things.
I chose a shampoo, conditioner, and body wash with matching ocean breeze smell.
There were also a variety of loofahs, I used a medium sized bright yellow one in the shape of a circle.
When I was done, I found a towel outside my shower and it was beautifully inscribed with sort of a remembrance for my parents and sister, a speech that you would say at the memorial
Why they would put it in a towel, I don't know.
I patted myself dry anyways and got dressed, then woke my- the bear who I decided to name December, after the cold month to which it was accustomed to living in.
I lead December with me to the kitchen with an extra spring in my step, I skipped along the hard tile flooring and absorbed the atmosphere around me.
"Tori!" Sydney called, she and the others, who followed, looked more radiant than I had ever seen them. But I suppose I looked better too, because I hadn't had a shower for a bit either.
I let them catch up with me and we walked together to the measly breakfast. With all the luxury here, I'd kind of expected some kind of breakfast feast. Or a buffet.
But we each had a carefully crafted, polished, mahogany chair to sit in.
And all we got to eat was a bowl of cereal and a small glass of orange juice.
The lady walked into the kitchen as we were all staring in disgust at our food. She laughed, and I was happy about all this luxury, but she was starting to bother me. First of all, she never even told us her name so I'm forced to refer to her as 'the lady', in my head, and then we get this for breakfast? Like siriusly, the last thing I had to eat was an apple I found on a tree while we were traveling. A day ago. I probably shouldn't be complaining, because there are people who have it much worse than me, but with all the nice things we've been recieving, we can't even have a good breakfast? The lady started to speak, and there I go again calling her a lady, more like mysterious creeper that probably brought us here to eat us or something, but I cut her off. "First things first, I need to know your name before curiosity kills the cat. Seriously." I thought I heard everyone snickering behind me, as if to tell me that no one really cares what her name is and why should you? Whatever.
Her face said, "Ugh, really? Why do you care!?"
But her mouth said "Okay, my name is Calypso. . . but you guys will refer to me as a teacher. A sort of helper. But actually I won't be the one teaching you so actually-"
