Going home that day might have been the worse thing I ever done. I went into the house and took my things in my room. I went back downstairs after I put everything away and sat in the front, but then my dad called me and hell broke loose.

"Victoria is that you,"he said from his office.

"Yes, it's me daddy," I responded.

"Come in here please."

I went into his office to see him sitting at his desk working on a company project.

"Yes sir?"

"Sit down sweetheart."

I sat down nervous about what he was going to say to me.

"How was your birthday yesterday?"

"Great, it was nice to spend the day with the girls."

He looked at me out the top of his reading glasses. As liked he knew I was lying.

"Really, because I talked to Ashley's mom and she said that Ashley never went anywhere. Ashley also told her that she didn't have any plans to because you had something else to do with someone else."

Shit! Was the first thing to come to my mind. How the fuck did he find out.

"Well um....I uh-" I started but he cut me off.

"Your brother told me of your meeting in the woods yesterday morning. He told me you met up with that Lonnie boy who dad's a disgrace and grandmother just died. When were you going to tell your mother and I about this boy huh?"

"I wasn't planning to," I mumbled under my breath.

"Excuse me!"

"Nothing, I was just saying that if I have told you I knew you wouldn't approve because who and what he is."

"You damn right! That boy is suicidal and crazy! He is not the right guy for you Victoria!"

"Oh my god you're such a hypocrite! Was not it you that said that we can't judge others by who or what they are, but what's within them and there true feelings!"

"He's doesn't have feelings for you, he doesn't feel! It's not possible, trust me I know!"

"Oh like you know about me and Jeffrey! Well news flash dad, you don't know! I love Lonnie and he loves me! There is absolutely nothing you can do about it!"

With that I stormed out of his office and to my room."How dare he! He can't stop me from seeing who I want," I thought pacing back and forth angrily in my room. I laid in bed and just thought to myself until 11:45 to go see Lonnie. Once 11:45 came around I left to go to the well. At that moment I needed to see Lonnie.

"I am so glad to see you right now," I said walking over to the bench to sit down, but he didn't respond. "Are you okay,"I asked.

"I uh....gotta tell you something,"he muttered looking down at the ground.

"What is it?"

"We um....we can't......we can't see each other anymore."

"What do you mean we can't see each other?! Lonnie look at me and answer me now!!"

He looks up but doesn't say anything .

"You never loved me did you?! It was just a huge lie?!"

"Don't say that! I do love you and always have!"

"Then why are you doing this?! Is it your father?!"

"No!"

"Then what Lonnie huh what?!"
