I rolled my eyes as he walked closer to me. I walked away from him and took a menu and two kids menus to the women who just walked in with her kids. They told me all about their plans to go to the adventure park. I always was good with kids. They're probably the most honest people, never afraid to say what's on their mind. I took their order and went over to give it to the chef.

"Hi Riley." I heard Harry say as I roll my eyes. He probably just learned my name by reading my name tag.

"Hi." I said sharply as I picked up a broom and started to sweep the floor. It wasn't even dirty. I just wanted to get out of this awkward conversation. Another couple walked in but spencer looked at me and told me he would take it. If only he knew.

"Look I know you don't like me. I dont blame you, I was a jerk freshmen year. But I'd like to change that, can you give me another chance?" His sudden confession took me by surprise. It took me a second to formulate my words.

"I have a hard time getting along with people who don't work for anything and get everything handed to them." I admitted before I saw my tables order was ready. I silently celebrated as I picked up the plates and walked away.

When I walked back, I saw Harry tying an apron around his waist. "What are you doing?" I questioned as he picked up the broom I was once holding.

"If I need to work for acceptance then I will. And I can tell its not going to be easy. So I figure ill start now." He picked up the broom and started sweeping. I watched him, unable to comprehend that he was actually doing work.

"The whole time?" Sky asked as I nodded my head. "Wow who knew Harry styles could work for an entire ten hours." She was obviously as surprised as I was.

"I honestly didn't know why he did it. One day isn't going to change anything. What does he expect me to run into his arms calling him 'my hero' after he worked one shift" I rolled my eyes.

"I don't know riles. He seems to really want you to give him another chance." I couldn't believe sky was siding with Harry styles.

"What are you talking about? He's probably just never been rejected by a girl. I bet you he will give up very soon."

"Okay. I bet you he keeps trying for at least a week. What do you want to bet?" I shrugged as her eyes lit up. "Ohhh I know. If I'm right, then you have to go to mini golf with Tyler and I." I sighed. I had vowed to never go mini golfing with them. It was just so coupley.

"No sky. You know that I hate being the third wheel during mini-golf. " I said as she shook her head.

"You won't be alone. If in win, you have to bring Harry along." My eyes grew as I realized what she was suggesting, a double date.

"Why are you suddenly on his side?" I asked as she shrugged.

"I think he really has changed and everyone deserves a second chance. Plus you're stubborn so you need a push. And he is super handsome." She said as I laughed. I had to admit, he was nice to look at, very nice at that.

"What do I get if I win?" I asked as she obviously had forgotten that she might not be right.

"If you win, I let you use me to hem clothes." I smiled, agreeing to those terms. She usually won't let me size clothes I had made on her because I would accidentally prick her with the pins. This was going to be an easy win.

I walked into work just before seven, ignoring the obvious 'just on time' looks from Nancy. I grabbed a wash cloth as I heard someone come out of the kitchen. I figured it was spencer so I just kept cleaning.

"Morning Riley." I turned to see Harry standing behind me. Wow he was here at seven in the morning, maybe I will lose this bet after all.
