Chapter 40

LUKE'S POV

                      It was 2am and Jack shook me awake. I noticed Cece and I fell asleep on the couch cuddling. Cece's face had tear marks. I frowned and got up carefully. I went to take a quick shower. I went back and see Cece awake. "Morning sleeping beauty" I kiss her head. "Hi" Cece sounded broken. "Get up our flight leaves soon" I said softly and hugged her. Cece sighs and gets up. I go see who else is awake. I see Jack  making some coffee. I see Cal and Mikey in hoodies cuddling in front. Ash is putting on his glasses. Cece come out of the bathroom with my shirt and hoodie on with a pair of black leggings. She looks miserable. "Who's ready?" Jack asked. Everyone groaned and I got my backpack and charger. My phone was in my sweats. I looked at the boys they looked exhausted. We all got in the SUV. We left for the airport. Cece cuddled into my side. I kiss her head. "We're here" Mikey said. "Can we get something to eat" Cal whined like a little kid. "Simmer down child we will get food after we get settled, is that  okay Cece? I'm sure the babies are starving." Jack asked Cece. She is looking down with her hood up and all she does is nod slowly. We got all situated and it turns out Cece is sitting in between me and Jack. The boys are sharing a row. We got the business class. Thank god One Direction. 

CECE'S POV

             We were at the airport. Cal and Mikey went to get food. I was sitting on the floor with my hood up with Luke. He had his arms wrapped around me. My phone rings. Its Jamie.

Cece: Hello?

Jamie: Cece? Fab called me. I'm on my way to catch a flight to America, Do you need a ticket?

Cece: No I'm fine jamie I'll see you over there

                 I hung up and put my phone away. "Luke can we go get some coffee?" I asked softly, I just wanted to get away from everyone. Luke stood up and helped me up. He held my hand we walked to a little coffee shop. Luke ordered some coffee. I sit at a booth waiting for Luke. He comes back with our coffees. I sigh and take a sip of my coffee. "Come on, let's head back Mikey and Cal probably found some food." Luke stood up and held my hand. We walked back to Cal and Mikey. Ash and Jack were on their phones. Mikey gives me a bag and Luke pulls me down to sit on his lap on the floor. I open the bag and take out our food. Mikey got us some muffins. I eat and feed some to Luke. We sat there for about an hour. We got called to board the plane. I sat down. I didn't want to see anyone. I take out my headphones. I turn out the world. I fell asleep. 

 ~HOURS LATER~

                  The plane ride was boring. Jack shook me awake and I noticed that Luke hasn't slept at all. We get off the plane. I see that there's alot of girls outside in the airport. My heart starts beating fast. "It's okay Cece, Just stay in between me and Ash" Jack said. I nodded and put up my hood. We got to the SUV. I had my headphones in so I couldn't hear the fans. I sat in between Jack and Ash. We drove to Fabian's house. I see Fabian sitting outside. I climbed over Jack and got out and ran to Fabian. "Fabian!" I hugged him.  "Cece" Fabian said softly. I start crying. "I missed you Fab" I sobbed. "I missed you too Nena. Oh your mom is inside" Fabian said. I froze. "Hi Fabian" Luke said and shook his hand. My mother was inside. "What do you mean she's  inside?!" I panicked. 

              "She's inside with my mom and dad... Cece she wants to see you and Jamie" Fabian said. I started laughing coldly. "Cierra?" I hear someone say. I froze and I felt Luke hold my hand. "Oh my goodness! Cierra!" Mom ran up to me and tried to hug me. I hid behind Luke. I feel the other guys behind us. "What do you want?" I asked coldly. "Snugglebug?" Mom said. I cringed. "Wow mother....." I said and stepped from behind Luke. "Where have you been young lady?" Mom said. "Like you actually cared. Remembered Mother you blamed me for the death of Dad! You abused me" I said. Luke tensed. "Cece why don't we go to the hotel" Jack put a hand on my shoulder and other on Luke's shoulder. "My daughter is not going anywhere with 5 guys!" My mom said. "Yes I am" I said. "No Cierra.... How long have you been fucking them for huh?" Mom's voice spat venom. "Woah there ma'am my girlfriend isn't like that..... and she is coming home with us no matter what you aren't her guardian my brother is...." Luke said sternly. I could tell he was extremely pissed. 

                  "Come on Luke let's go" I pulled his hand. "Fabian we'll see you guys in a bit we need to get some rest." Ash said. We went back to the SUV. We went to our hotel. I laid on my and Luke's bed. I see the boys getting dressed. "What are you doing?" I asked. "Um getting ready for the wake" Mikey said softly. I got up and pulled out a black dress. I didn't want to shower. It was cold. I see the boys dressed up and ready to go. I sigh and put on my heels. We head back to the car and leave for the funeral home. I see Matt the 4 others sitting at the table. "Hello Family. We are here to celebrate a life. Grandma Acacia wanted Cece to sing one last time for her. Can Cece please come up on stage?" Uncle Chewy said. My hands start shaking. I feel squeeze my hand. "It's okay baby I'll go up with you" Luke whispered. I nodded. We walked up to the stage. "Hi I'm going to be singing It's to hard to say goodbye to yesterday by Jason Mraz with my boyfriend." I said softly. I see Luke with a guitar. 

How do I say good bye to what we had,

The good times that made us laugh outweigh the bad

I thought we'd get to see forever but forever's gone away

       I didn't realize I was crying till Luke pulled me into a hug. "You were great baby" Luke whispered in my ear.
