"Why do you ask?" He asked. There he was. That arrogant boy I have always known.
He tilted his head to the side and looked at me with his big eyes. I didn't know if he was mad or just annoyed with me.
I shook my head and turned back to his phone.
"Nothing. It was just a stupid question," I said. With that I played a warm up song and went to stand next to him.
"You know that with some parts we need to choreograph it ourselves," I told him as I started to pop.
He nodded and scratched the back of his neck uncomfortably.
"What?" I asked, eyeing him from the corner of my eyes.
"I'm not good at it," he confessed.
I widened my eyes. The overly perfect Jeon Jungkook, not forgetting the ultimate dance machine, has a flaw?
Right, he must be kidding.
He eyed me for a second. "No, really. I can't choreograph." He added.
I frowned and stopped the music with the remote.
"Then what about all those dances you did when you were a trainee?" I asked him, "I mean, I heard you were famous back then for dancing great choreography."
He laughed and pursed his lips. "You know Kyle Hanagami? He has lots of dance videos on Youtube."
Of course I knew Kyle. He was my dance instructor for a year in America. No wonder his moves seemed so familiar. It was because Jungkook danced it before!
"And the dance moves from your comebacks?" I went on.
He shook his head. "Most of it were from our dance instructor and Hobie's."
I made a 'oh' and turned back to the mirror.
"Well, I guess you just need to follow me." I said to him. He nodded and I turned back on the music.
Showing him a few moves, he quickly caught on and we practiced.
Doing all the choreography from all their songs, I noticed that the time had flown by. It was already evening.
Drenched in sweat, I tossed Jungkook a bottle of water and headed towards the audio system to unplug his phone. At that time, his phone vibrated and showed that he had a message.
I turned towards Jungkook and stuck out my hand with his phone.
"You got a message," I told him. He stopped in the midst of his drinking and looked at me innocently. The way how he had his cheeks all puffed up from the water made my heart flutter. He was and still is cute.
Gulping it down, he walked over to me and grabbed his phone to check. Then he smiled to himself.
When I screwed the cap back on my bottle I raised an eyebrow.
"Your girlfriend?" I teased.
He shook his head and slid his phone in his backpocket.
"No, nothing. I just received good news." He told me.
I smiled and tilted my head to the side. "Oh, really? What's so good? You won the triple crown at Music Bank?"
He shook his head, again. "Better,"
I frowned. Now I was getting really curious. Seeing my expression, he couldn't hide his excitement and put a finger on his lips.
"I'll tell you if you promise to keep it a secret."
I stuck out my hand and swore to keep it a secret, and drank from my bottle again.
"A friend of mine told me that Hana returned back to Korea, today. I was planning on suprising her."
I almost choked on my water. Quickly wiping my lips I pretended to be indifferent.
"Ah... Is that so?"
He nodded quickly.
"And when are you going to surprise her?" I asked him.
He frowned and eyed me suspiciously again. "Why you wanna know? Are you going to stop me? Are you perhaps... jealous?" He asked with caution.
I scoffed. "As if. But I have to admit, your actions makes me think as if you like her more than just 'a friend'." I said, putting the word with quotations with my hand.
He sighed with a smile and laid a hand on his chest.
"I know that I didn't treat her well in the past, but I was shy back then. I have always liked her. Even thinking about her makes my heart flutter."
He twirled himself around and smiled like a fool.
I couldn't believe what I just heard. He liked me. No, he likes me.
And I have to admit. I had a crush on him in the past, too. But past is past. I don't like him that way anymore. He was good at killing off my feelings, with what he meant 'being shy'.
"As far as I had researched about Hana, I don't think she likes you much,"
He frowned and gave me a look.
"How are you so sure? Do you know her personally?"
"Of course I know. I am Hana!" I mentally shouted at him, but remained a poker face.
"No, not really. It is a rumor." I said, instead.
He narrowed his eyes and walked closer until we were a few inches apart. He poked with his finger against my chest and spoke threatening.
"It's not because I mistook you for Hana that you actually have chance with me. Suck up that jealousy of yours, because we are never going to be together," he warned me. I widened my eyes when he walked past and nudged me.
"Yah!" I scoffed.
The door shut and I was left alone in the room. Who the hell does he think he is?
He's just really strange and full of himself at times. Unbelievable. Why would I even be jealous of myself?
Oh, Jungkookie... You just made yourself look bad in front of your 'true' love.
Stupid.
I smirked to myself. The longer I thought about it, the funnier it gets.
Grabbing my stuff, I went back to the practice room to get my bag and phone. When I got my phone, it displayed that I had three missed calls from home.
I widened my eyes and gasped.
Shit!
