Alice :||

I hummed to myself as I walked the halls of the college. I had a smile plastered on my face, and nothing could of been any better! It was just another perfect day. Well, for me it was anyways.

Everyone else was drowning themselves in coffee, or flipping through their textbooks, eyes bloodshot. I am quite confused by that. Didn't anyone sleep?

I turned into my Vocal Music class, and smiled at the our teacher, Mr. Bohanan. "Good Morning, Miss Alice."

"Good morning, Mr. Bohanan." I smiled cheerfully, taking my regular seat in the front right corner. I like it because it's right by the window, and I can see the rain or the sun or the clouds, and sometimes the occasional squirrel.

"You seem rather... Prepared." Mr. Bohanan said, slightly confused.

I giggled, "Why wouldn't I be? I studied and got plenty of sleep. I'm ready."

The teacher smiled, "You look lovely in that dress."

"Thank you, sir. I bought it at McKay's. I really do like it. I think it's the color." I say. Mr. Bohanan nodded, looking me up and down carefully. "Is something wrong, sir?"

"Oh, you're just so pretty in that dress. It turns me on a bit." he chuckled. I gave him a puzzled look.

"Define turn on?" I asked. He sighed just as my fellow classmates came in, looking like coffee zombies. "Why is everyone so dead looking?" I asked.

"Because everyone studies at the last minute." my classmates murmur. I looked down at my feet, then back up at my piers.

"Should I have done that too? Is it a tradition I don't know of?" I questioned.

"Alice, you're good studying early." Mr. Bohanan said quietly.

I gasped, "Oh. It's merely procrastination!"

Mr. Bohanan nodded. "Okay, class. I'm fixing to pass out the exams. Once you finish, please put it on my desk and leave the room. Understood?"

The class grumbled, and the exams were passed out. I didn't exactly wiz through the exam, it took thinking. But I feel I did pretty good.

I quietly shut the door to my class and took the walk to the Musical Theory classes. I promised to meet Madeline there after I finished. So I sat myself on a bench and pulled out a book, eager to see my friend and hear about her exams. Madeline even promised a night out if we aced! And I know I'd love to have a night out. Madeline and I, we'll take the world by storm.
