Writing Lyrics can be a bother sometimes you know?  Thinking of the words that just speak to you can be one of the hardest things while writing a song

Maybe i should just introduce myself first though. . .

My names Aria , Aria Thompson.  Im the kind of girl you don't see very often.  Im not your typical teenage girl that likes to have "sleepovers" and talks about boys.  Sometimes i feel like i was born in the wrong generation to be completely honest.  Most things that girls my age love are simply boring and i find those things quite obnoxious.  I'm that "weird" girl that likes to sit at home on a Friday night just hanging with my guitar and going on twitter.  I live for now.  Not the past , not the future.  I don't have many friends but as long as i have my music i'll always be the same Aria.  Though some people in my past have changed, including my (ex) bestfriend, i have always remained the same.  I mean i have a "boyfriend" , but he doesn't seem to be supportive of my life goals.  Sometimes i wish life would just be a little easier. . .

"Aria Dinners ready!" my mom yells loudly from the bottom of the steps.

"I'll be there in a minute!" i say in a harsh, yet subtle voice.

"My mom thinks i dont have friends, which ... she is kinda right , but i like it better that way.  Less drama is better."

"You see, my dad left when i was just born , he said that he couldn't handle it or something along those lines but we dont talk about him that much. My mom and I have had some rough years, but 2 years ago my mom met her boyfriend , John.  I like him don't get me wrong but i can't help but sensor that he thinks something is wrong with me . . . like i need help or counciling but i am doing just fine."

"Aria your dinner is getting cold!" my mom says more sternly the second time.

"I'm coming down now!  i wonder what we're gonna talk about tonight at the dinner table . . . "

"Family Dinners" , aren't really family dinners at all anymore these past  9 months.  It usually consists of My mother , John , and I , unless John has a business worker come over to talk about various dilemmas that occurs upon him at work.  Anyway , this is how it usually goes. . . My mom asks about school , then she gets all worried about me , then i get mad ,and lastly i go to my room.  We haven't had a normal family dinner with just me and her in such a long time, since John has been here. . .
