"Dana, what are we gonna do when we're older. When we're men?" I asked.

Dana and I had grown up together. We were both part of Captain Peter's crew. He was my brother.

No, not biologically, but I guess it counts as adoption. Captain Peter had brought us in as babies. He said he saved us. We were raised in the pirate trade.

"I don't know Dalton... I want my own ship." Dana said, leaning back and looking at the stars. "Me too. I want to be on my own, have new adventures." I responded. A bell rung somewhere on the ship. "It's your birthday Dana. You're 16. What are you gonna do?" I asked. "I'm gonna leave. I'm going to build a boat. I'm going to be my own Captain." He said. I raised my eyebrows. "Come with me. We can sail together. Be my first mate." Dana said. I looked at him and said, "Let's do it."

That night we left. We were anchored off the coast of an island. We stole a ship and gathered a crew. We did what we new best. How to be a pirate. A year passed, I was now 18 and Dana was 27.

"You can't just TAKE the princess of Yalet! (Yah-lay)" I said. "Uh, can and did." He responded. "I don't stand for this! You can't collect ransom! It's wrong!" I explained.

Then we got ransom money...

"Okay, so it might make us world wide criminals but we have more money than we know. What now?" I asked Dana. "Bigger ship." He said. I sighed. "Which means bigger crew." I added. "Yup." Dana said.

So we got a new ship, doubled our crew and set out again. Now I was 19 and he was 18.

"I CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE! YOU HAVE NO MORAL! YOU TAKE WHAT YOU WANT! YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE A KING! YOU HAD YOUR MEN KILL THEIR CREW BECAUSE ONE GUY ACCIDENTALLY STEPPED ON YOUR FOOT! YOU HIRED AN ASSASIN TO BE YOUR BODYGUARD!" I yelled. "ITS NOT YOUR PROBLEM!" Dana yelled back. "I'm out." I said. "Good. Now swim away." Dana said. I left the boat and swam to shore. Soon I got on my feet and made my own crew. By the time I was 20 I had my own boat, crew, and logic.

The day I landed on Musica, in Armonia, the day I took Mea, was my birthday. I turned 21, and Dana was 20. I knew he would target me, I just thought I was hidden enough where he would avoid me. Bad idea I guess. My "brother" was a traitor. He killed people and stole children. He was no better then Peter.

Yes, Peter Pan. His lost boys were children he captured. Some of us chose to grow up. Others felt safe with him. I didn't. I left. I'm glad I did. I never meant for any of this to happen...
