Eric's POV

It's been a few months since dani made the pregnancy announcement to the family and we've been making huge changes, we recently bought a house together and it's finally unpacked, we're starting to set up for our son, yes it's another baby boy and I love it. We're making the house accommodating for not one but two babies, Sarah's due any day now and our son needs his place in my home with dani as well

Dani: Eric what in the world are you doing to our baby's nursery? It was perfect

I literally only moved one thing, you know this baby is going to be set because I'm ready and your ready, but we have a few m!ore months to go

Dani: I'm not rushing our little man. He isn't due until the first week in January which seems far now, but that time will go by fast. I was thinking maybe we should have a house warming party

How did we go from discussing little man to discussing party ideas?

Dani: I just feel as if it would be a great idea for us to invite friends and family over for a small party

If that's what you want then that's what we'll do, its a great idea actually and I enjoy making you happy

I gave her a peck on the lips before walking up to our bedroom to change

Dani: I've been thinking about some things, specifically names for our baby and I wanted your input, what do you think is a good name for him?

Well Eric is still an option because sarah and I came to an agreement on a name. A cowboy name  like Wyatt Oliver is what we picked and I don't want two cowboys so how about something like Ryder?

Dani: you want to name our son Ryder? It's cute, but I'm not in love with it too much. How about River?

I love River, that sounds good. River Isaac Olsen

Dani: perfect, you know this was too easy. River must like his name because he's kicking

River this is your dad, I think mommy's been picking out your name since the day she told me about you and I'm glad you like it because I like it. Your gonna love her, she's amazing

Dani: daddy's pretty amazing too

I gave Daniela a kiss after feeling my baby move inside of her

Dani: Sarah's calling you again, maybe she has another craving or something.

I know I've been spending a lot of time with her lately, I didn't realize that I was neglecting you. I just want to be there for my child she's carrying

Dani: it's fine, but not coming home isn't. You made me feel like she's your priority and I'm an option. I don't want to be anyone's option Eric

Your not an option Dani, your the most important woman in my life. I've been arranging a surprise for you over the past week or so. Can you just trust me and give me time, you'll see that I'm all about you and me. Sarah's having my child, so I can't say she won't be in the picture because she will, but only as my son's mother

Dani: I'm only going to be your son's mother too

Your my whole world, you are the love of my life. Your my number one priority. I love you Dani

Dani: I love you too, answer your phone because it's getting annoying and I need a nap

Okay.

I answered my phone to hear sarah saying that her water broke, bad timing, but I'm about to have a child so all I could think of was the excitement. I didn't want dani being home alone so I brought her with me to pick up sarah and we headed down to the hospital where we sat in the delivery room with sarah who's only dilated one centimeter. This is going to be a long ride

Sarah: you know I can have someone call you when its almost time Eric

I'm not going to miss a minute of this. Who else is going to get your ice chips and rub your feet?

Sarah: thanks for not making me feel alone with this pregnancy. Even though we're not together you've been here every step of the way for me and the baby. I thought things would change one Dani got pregnant, but you didn't abandon me and I really needed you so thank you

If the roles were reversed I know you would have done the same for me. Try to relax for a while

Sarah: I don't know about you but I'm going to try and get some sleep

That's a good idea, dani do you need anything?

Dani: can you maybe get my blanket that's in the car, its in the bag I packed for my delivery.

Dani's POV

When Eric left out I sat up on the couch to take my shoes off. I was feeling a bit uncomfortable in my position

Sarah: Dani are you staying for the delivery?

I hadn't thought that far ahead, if that's uncomfortable for you I'll wait out in the waiting room. Our situation is a little weird on its own

Sarah: I don't have a problem if you stay

Well I think being present during the birth will not be a good thing and the visitor waiting room is very comfortable

Sarah: okay

Eric came up with my bag and once I laid back on the extra beds in the other corner of the room he covered me with the blanket and took a seat beside me

Eric: are you okay being here?

It's okay because your with me. I want to be here and share this happy moment with you. Your so excited and its cute

Eric: your cute, I know you were tired before we left out so rest up

I did wait up for you all night

Eric: I was working on that surprise for you, I'm sorry for not calling, I got so caught up in it

It's alright. I'm going to sit and do my puzzles while we wait then hopefully I'll fall asleep

Eric: I'll be right here. I don't know how I got so lucky with you, your incredible
