Dani's POV

7.5 months pregnant and I'm currently up in the air headed back home to Lisbon Portugal. Ever since my engagement two months ago my mother's been asking to see me and since I'm done shooting my scenes on the show eric and I are headed out for a visit

Eric: how's little man doing in there?

He's having a good time kicking, I think he's just as excited as I am to be headed home. You really didn't have to come, I know you like being with Wyatt before he goes down for his naps

Eric: it's only for two weeks and sarah and I made some arrangements. I can talk to my little guy over face time until we return home. I want to see where you grew up and went to school, I want to be here for this trip

I think it will be fun showing you around and showing you the spot where I want us to have our wedding ceremony

Eric: oh I know your really excited about that part, you've been going on about that non stop for the past month which is really cute

I'm excited to plan out our big day, you only get married once if it works out, so I want it to be special. I think you'll enjoy meeting my family

Eric: I will, I love everything about you so I just know I'll love them too. Even if I don't understand a word anyone's saying

I offered to teach you, but your lazy. Portuguese is not so hard

Eric: if you say so. How many more hours before we get there? I'm getting a little restless

We have about thirty more minutes before we land then you'll get to learn more about your future wife

Eric: your really excited about this and it's so adorable, I could just kiss you right now

I crashed my lips together as we fought for dominance until he won, he was restless but we certainly found use of our time up in the air. We landed around noon in Portugal and he was already so tired so we went straight to my mom's house to put away our things and rest up. I laid on my side in my bed when I felt his arms wrap around me and his lips pressed to my neck trailing kisses down my back which tickled

Eric: you like that?

I love it

Eric: what's bothering you?

I was just thinking of how we got here

Eric: a plane brought us here

Not here as in our location Eric, I'm talking about you and me. Where we are in this relationship. A year ago I never thought I'd be here with you having your baby and planning a wedding. I love how my life took a surprise turn and we ended up together

Eric: I do too, are you at all scared?

I turned to face him as he pulled me in close

I'm excited to be starting this new chapter in my life and yes it's a little scary because I've never been a mom or a wife and I want to be good at it. I want my boys to get the best of me

Eric: we get that everyday. You're already amazing at being a mom and as for me once I got you I'm happy because you know I think your perfect don't you?

I may have heard it once or twice, but I may need a little convincing to help me believe it

He started kissing my neck while unbuttoning my top. His lips found their way back on mine as he unhooked my bra throwing it on the floor along with my top, the moment was perfect until we were interrupted by a knock on the door

Eric: I'm going to do some more convincing later

He gave me one last kiss on the lips before helping me get dressed and I went down to help mom in the kitchen while he got to know some of the family better. He seemed to be doing great out there and my grandmother took a liking to him. After lunch I decifded to take eric on a little walk and we ended up at a beach

Eric: the view is beautiful up here

Yeah, I love coming up for this view of the ocean

Eric: that's pretty, but I was talking about you. Your what's beautiful up here

He wrapped his arms around my waist as we stood watching the ocean, it really was a very beautiful view. When we were done I showed him one of my old schools and some of the places I hung out at as a kid, I think he was having a pretty good time getting to know more about where I came from and he surprised me when he was able to greet a few people in Portuguese

Eric: it's nice learning so many new things about you. I see why you like coming back whenever you get the chance, it's amazing here

It really is. I'm glad your having a good time with me, you got my family to love you and I like how you didn't object to anything I planned because I know I got a little too excited

Eric: you did get very excited Dani, but it was cute and you and I love doing some of the same things so I had fun today and I will definitely remember my first day in Portugal. No matter where I am I'll always enjoy it as long as I'm with you

I tiptoed to wrap my arms around his neck and give him a kiss which he gladly returned

Eric: you are so beautiful

Even while im this huge?

Eric: I think your perfect. You make this whole look very sexy and I actually have a surprise for you. Dinner just the two of us at your favorite restaurant, your mother gladly helped me make the reservation. We should head back to get dressed for tonight

Where are you taking me exactly?

Eric: that's a surprise

We both headed back to the house where we showered and dressed for our dinner together. I had no idea where we'd be going, but I knew I'd have fun. I decided to put on my black dress and a pair of heels, I always carry a pair of flats with me just in case. When I finally got done getting dressed Eric came in and we headed out. The driver pulled up in front of my favorite restaurant. We walked in and was directed to our table

Eric: how do you like the surprise so far?

It's really nice, I'm just wondering what's this all about? This is a really nice surprise Eric

Eric: your having my baby Dani, and you also agreed to spend the rest of your life with me. I just want you to know how much you mean to me and today happens to be the anniversary of the first day we met. The beginning of us

You remembered the date? That's so sweet

Eric: how can I forget? Since day one I knew working with you would be fun and I ended up falling in love with you which has been the most incredible journey. I love you so much

I love you too, your making me want to cry right now

Eric: well as long as their happy tears then that's okay, I was serious earlier about you being beautiful. You're the most beautiful woman in the world to me

At that I smiled, we were interrupted by our waitress who came to take our orders. After ordering dinner we talked for a while then ate together. It was a really sweet surprise and I sat there thinking of how this man has me so head over heels in love with him. After dinner the driver took us home where we changed for bed

Eric: was this a good first day back home?

This was the best first day, but home is with you. This is where home used to be, it's a huge part of my history but right now our home is back in Los Angeles. My home is with you

He gave me a kiss and we climbed into bed together and I started tossing and turning

Eric: your uncomfortable, why?

River decided to tuck himself under my ribs tonight, but it's okay. He isn't done moving around so he's probably trying to get comfortable himself. I'm gonna let him be because I'm tired

Eric: since you can sleep through that then okay, goodnight babe. River be good to mommy

I smiled as I rolled over and drifted off to sleep. It was a good first day visiting my family. Eric has a way of making things just a little bit better
