The bubble tea he brought turned warm but she didn't mind drinking it until only air was left in the cup.
The sunlight was gone and the streetlights were the only source of light that showed the dirtied pavements.
Throughout the way back, Jongin saw how sad her eyes were and it felt as if history has repeated itself. Because he's been getting the feelings he felt during the time his brother just left him for the after world.
"We could get something to eat first. You wouldn't want your parents to see you with a gloomy face like that would you?" He asked but she didn't respond to his question. She only had her eyes on the pavement.
Jongin never thought she would turn out this way seeing how she was the cheery one every time they had worked together on the project.
So this what it felt when people never responded to what we say. This is what it felt to be ignored.
Letting out a long sigh, he didn't think twice when he took her hand and practically dragged her to who knows where he's taking her to.
Looking back, he could see her confused and questioning face but he only gave back a small smile.
"Just think of this as my apology."
