Looking at what seems to be her notebook that's already left with no more blank pages, she sighed at how much she managed to write. With all these, she could just pass in the assignment in a few days. But at the thought of assignment, Kim Jongin had passed her mind once again.
Shaking her head out of the thoughts, she grabbed her bag and stuffed in her things. Switching off the lights of her room, she headed out to the bookstore.
Looking over the large variety of notebooks, she was genuinely happy. Reading and writing has been something she loved with so much passion and never once did she feel it was burdening for her. Literature was her safe haven.
"I knew I would catch you here."
A voice very familiar greeted her. She felt happy to hear his voice but yet her pained scar was still there. But as much as she wanted to run away from her problems, she knew that it's not easy to brush of things.
Life is cruel like that but it turns you into someone who learns from the past. It's like swallowing that bitter pill when you're sick and it makes to remember to care for your health to not get sick again, so you'll never have to eat that pill ever again.
Taking a notebook she's been eyeing since she arrived at the store, she took one of the pens on display. Opening to the first page of the book, she wrote something down before passing it to Jongin.
