i arrived at school early this morning, because i had to retest in my math class. of course. it was the only class i had a low grade in the rest of my classes all tip top grades.
when i was done retesting i gathered my stuff and walked towards the waiting area. all the people who got dropped had to go there before splitting into the upper and lower gyms by their grade level.
i leaned against a wall staring at the ground not wanting to look up at anyone as they walked in. i mean who would want to see tired people struggle with 40 pound bookbags on their backs.
i waited for what felt like the longest the two or three minutes of my life. once the clock turned 7:10 the alarm on the teacher's phone who was watching us went off signaling for everyone to tiredly get up and head towards the gyms.
in a fast pace i walked up the stairs into the upper gym where the lower classmen went. the school only consisted of two grade levels. its weird.
i sat down in my place in the bleachers waiting for my friend circle to get dropped off by the buses.
