Dying inside
You can't let go
You can't be free
Alone and scared
A wave of ice cold water crashes over you
Taunted and teased
Your soul haunted with disease
A wave of fiery boiling water crashes over you
You're locked up in a cage
You fit and change yourself to fit through
Fit through the cage bars
But once you escape,
It's not really you anymoreits this perfect little persona you've made
You left your true self behind in that cage
For a huge wave crashes over you
For the cage is for the weird and different
You wanted to fit in so you changed yourself to fit through the cage bars
But once you've escaped....you relize you're in a cage
For there are bars here too
All around you in fact
This cage for the people who fit and change themselves
And now you see that the old cage isn't really a cage
But a free life
Filled with all the people who didn't change
they are them true selfs
You were to busy trying to get through the bars that you didn't realize you were trying to get into a cage
You were already free!
A wave crashes over you
