Tobin's p.o.v
The open practice had finished and we were signing things for our fans; shoes, cleats, shirts, posters, phones, and just about anything you could imagine. When I was taking a picture with a fan I heard a scream. I was quickly drawn to the noise. After realizing it came from behind me I turn and saw a group of girls standing in a circle. I hop up into the stands and see them surronding a girl.
"Hey what are you doing, back off" I say pushing through a crowd of girls.
I help the girl up and she mubled a small thank you. I quickly got her out of the circle and away from the gawking girls.
After explaining to her that I would have to send her to the coaches since she was under technical 'USWNT' watch when she was attacked, she agreed to coming with me. I made my way through the stands holding her arm and avoiding the people saying my name. Eventually I made it to one of the officials and led the girl to him.
"Hey this is--" I paused not knowing her name.
"Tori" she finished quietly for me looking down.
"This is Tori and she was harassed in the stands and will have to go in and talk to someone" I say and he nods ushering her away.
-An hour later-
When I went to go get on the bus I saw her walking to a car, and she smiled waving at me and I followed the action before boarding the bus sitting next to Alex. After everyone got on Jill came and sat in the seat in front of me.
"Hey Tobs could you come in early tomorrow for a witness statement with Tori" Jill asked after the bus takes off and I nod.
-The next day after questioning-
"Hey I know that's probably not how you wanted to spend your morning but at least we can get things solved right" she nods.
"How about I take you for breakfast to make up for it" I ask and she looks at me smiling.
"I'd love that" she says.
(Authors P.O.V)
Okay so Tobin and Tori spend the whole breakfast talking about life and their pasts and eventually Tobin asks for her number so they can hang out again and they do and date for about two years before Tobin proposes.
