How We Met: Ali

Ali's P.O.V

"And you're just now telling me about this" I yell at Kyle slightly angry.

"Well yeah because I didn't think you'd react like this" he half argues.

"You didn't think I would argue when I am fresh out of a two year relationship and you set me up on a blind date without me knowing and only tell me the day of, hmm no cancel" I angrily exclaim.

"I kind of can't" he said rubbing his elbow looking down.

"Why not" I ask crossing my arms.

"Becuase she is on her way her" he half whispered and I huff out before walking away towards my room.

Well I can't back out now. Be said it would be a simple casual date so I put on some ripped skinny jeans and a red t-shirt. I let my hair down it fell kind of wavy. I put my glasses through my hair and go put some mascara on and some sandals. After that I grab my phone and some money. I hear the doorbell ring and I go out of my room to see Kyle letting an extremely pretty girl in.

"Ali this is Kayla, Kayla this is my sister Ali" he introduces us and she reaches her hand out and I shake it before mubling a hi.

After a few minutes of talking we decided to go. She walked out the door first and as I turn around to shut the door I see Kyle smirking.

"I'm still mad" I say shutting the door and catching up to Kayla.

"So Ali tell me a bit about yourself" she said taking a sip of her drink as we sit in a restaurant.

"Well -insert semi long life story I don't have time to write- so yeah thats me" I finish and she smiled completely intrigued.

"No wonder we never talked before you played for Penn" she jokes and I smile.

"And just where did you play" I smirk adding back.

"Duke" she says sitting up straighter.

"Hah the worst of them all, of course" we both laugh as the waitress walked up with our food.

"You know I'm really glad your brother set us up I had fun" she said driving and I took a bold move grabbing one of her hands.

"I had fun too" I look at her and she intertwines our hands smiling at the road.

"You know my hand really hopes to be in this position again" I smirk facing her.

"Oh does it" she looks at me for a second before facing the road again.

"Well maybe we'll have to make that happen" she said and I blush facing the road as well.

As she dropped me off at the house she walked me up to the door and Kyle opened it smiling at us. I smile at her one last time before giving her a kiss on the cheek.

"See you again soon" she said and I nod before walking in.

"Still mad at me" Kyle said shutting the door.

"Maybe" I say not looking back.

(Okay so after this the go on a few more dates before Ali slips and calls Kayla her girlfriend and it just sticks. Then they date for only a year before Kayla pops the question and Ali says yes and they live happily ever after.)
