Y/n's POV~

Walking out in the cold air made me feel happy. I stripped off my jacket and tied it around my waist. I walked farther towards the forest, and over to a cliff. I sat at the edge and my feet dangle and I swing my legs. I wince at a pain in my upper back. I felt it tingle, I heard cloth ripping and felt a burst of fiery pain in my back.

I screamed in pain and held my hands to my shoulders. I felt myself move behind me, it's the only way to describe how I felt. I moved whatever was behind me in view. What the hell?

Wings. Pink, purple, blue, and white wings. Golden spike things was etched onto the top, eagle heads with blue glowing eyes made of gold was on the wings too (picture).

"What the hell?" I whispered. I was astonished, very surprised. I flapped the wings hard and I jolted up in the air. I yelped in surprise and zipped around not able to control where I went.

The wind blue my hair back and the cold made me shiver. My wings flapped vigorously and I couldn't control it. I screeched when I was closing in to a tree. I screamed and rolled my body to the side and dogged the tree. Signing in relief, I then realized I don't know how to stop. Suddenly, I felt a weight on my back. I screeched and fell down to the ground and scraped my knee. I turn to the thing that hit me and it was a basket ball...I was in the outside basket ball court.

I heard kids screamed somewhere and footsteps. 'They can't see me like this!' I thought as I pulled on my f/c jacket and I felt my wings gold back in and disappear.

"Hey lady!" A little bit yelled. "Can we have out ball?"

"Of course." I smiled and threw the ball. They yelled a thanks and the kids ran off to the court. "That was close..." I whispered.

"Yea it was." A voice behind me said, amusement laced in her voice.

I gasp and turn to see a girl about my height. She had shoulder length purple hair, her left eye was blue and her right eye green. She gave me a toothy grin, her slightly yellow teeth showing. "Hello," she bowed. "I'am K- Levi BlackRose. Nice to meet you!"

"Hi..." Who was this lady? Did she see my wings? It would be bad if she did! "I'am Y/n L/n." I hesitated. Should I trust her?

"Well, Y/n, like I said it's nice to meet you. And I saw those big wings." air caught in my throat. I know I just figured out about the wings...but I can't tell people. They'll think I'm crazy, or worse. Experiment on me!

"Don't worry, I won't tell." I let out a breathe of relief. But still, she could tell. "I'am different too. I don't have big, beautiful wings, but I'am different too."

"How?" I asked curiously.

She gave me a smirk and took out a metal baseball bat. The metal part of the bat was black, and it was glowing purple. The handle was also black. "D-don't hurt me!" I squeaked.

She chuckles and spins the bat around. I duck, almost getting hit with the phantom bat. "This is my favorite weapon, kindness!"

Suddenly that bat wasn't scary. "You named your bat...Kindness?"

"Yea," she shrugged. "So I can say I killed people with Kindness." She answered like it was as normal as 'pass the salt, please.'

"Wait...kill?" I asked.

"You'll find out soon enough, Y/n." She told me, her bat was gone. "Well, I got to go. But I'll be watching you. Later y/n!"
And Levi ran off.

"Watching me?" I mumbled. I was to scared to go home just yet, so I walked around a little more just in case Levi was really watching me.

When I got home I smelt spaghetti cooking. I heard the TV on one of those shows that judge singing. I walked upstairs and walked into my room the crashed on my bed.

"How am I gonna go to school with wings?" I said, my voice muffled by the bed.

"I can help." I yelped in surprise and turned to see Levi struggling to get through my window. She hit her knee and fell forward. She made an odd sound and pushed herself off the f/c carpeted floor. She dusted herself off and looked around my messy room.

"You gonna tell me?" I asked her.

"Oh yea!" She snapped her fingers. She pulled something out of her pants pocket, it was a silver necklace with a small feather. "If you wear this," she pointed to the necklace. "Your wings will disappear until you summon them."

"How do you summon them?" I asked sitting up. I rested my chin in my hand.

"You just think about it, then poof! There you go!" She clapped her hands at the word poof.

"How do I know to trust you, for all I know a tracker is embedded into the feather and you won't just kill me with your purple glowing bat of doom?" I asked walking over to get the necklace.

She giggled then smirked. "You don't!"

"Y/n!" My mother called from downstairs. "Dinner!"

I looked back to Levi and she was gone. I sighed and put on the necklace carefully. I then walked down to eat my dinner.
