At 7am, Landon and I are walking through Vegas Airport. The first thing I see is a bunch of poker machines and people sitting at them.

Landon takes my hand. "Do you want to gamble now or later?"

I walk past the machine. "Later, first I need to find a bathroom." I follow the signs to the bathroom.

I enter the bathroom and do my business. I wash my hands.

Mrs Parker enters the bathroom. She turns on the tap next to mine. "Are you nervous about tonight?"

I shake my head. "No, I don't think it's kicked in yet that I'm going to marry, Landon. Were you nervous when you married Mr Parker?"

She laughs. "Yeah, I started to have a panic attack and my little sister asked me if I loved him. I told her how I felt and she told me 'just remember how you feel about him and you can make it through the nerves.' She poured me a glass of wine and toasted to me getting married before her."

I laugh.

"Alcohol does wonders for the nerves." I look at the door. "I better get out there before Landon starts to worry."

I exit the bathroom and Landon looks at the door. "I saw Mum go in there. Did she give you a hard time?"

I shake my head. "No, she just wanted to know if I was nervous about marrying you tonight."

"Are you?"

"No, I'm not. Let's get our suitcases."

Landon takes my hand and pulls me through the airport. We walk down the stairs and follow the sign to the baggage claim area.

At the carousel we watch the bags go by and wait for ours to come to us. I see my bag and pull it off the carousel.

A couple minutes later, Landon's bags come around and he picks them up. Landon and I wheel our bags out of the airport.

Outside the airport I see a shuttle bus sign and walk over to the booth. Landon pays for the tickets for the bus.

The lady behind the counter points to a shuttle bus across the road. Landon and I walk across the road.

The driver steps out of the bus. "Where are you two going?"

"We're going to McGovern Hotel." The guy takes our bags and puts it in the back of the bus. He tears the tickets in half.

I take the seat in the backrow next to the window. I pull some gum out of my bag and put it in my mouth. I blow a bubble with the gum. And it makes a loud 'pop' noise in the quiet bus.

Landon climbs onto the bus and he takes the seat next to me. He wraps his arms around my shoulders. "I think Mum and Dad will be on this bus soon."

I hope not. I want to spend some alone time with Landon without his parents being around.

I hear the door slam and driver climbs into the driver's seat. He pulls the bus onto the road and heads towards the strip.

As the bus drives along the strip I keep an eye out for places I can go shopping at.

I need to buy a dress for when I marry Landon tonight. I don't want to wear the fake one I brought a couple months ago.

The shuttle bus driver pulls in front of a huge building with the letter M on it. He looks at me. "McGovern Hotel." He opens the door.
