Chapter 2- I Cruised, And I Bruised

"Woah! Check out Skylar getting her swag on!" On of my best friends Bevely shouted from the ramp she was at. I shook my head playfully and carried on doing my tricks until I noticed a crowd by the entrance..3 blondes and 3 brunettes... OH MY GOD.

*Ross's POV*

"Um a day in The Fantasy Factory for..6 please" I asked at he reception.

"$40 please" The lady there smiled as I paid her "Have fun"

We all mumbled some sort of thanks and went over to the ramps and poles. Over by a ramp was a blonde beauty who did the coolest ollie and made it look like the easiest thing ever. And with that I tripped over my board as soon as we locked eyes whilst she seemed to have panicked. She has a pick necklace on- I hope I didn't freak her out.

"Respond if you're alive" Rocky whispered and I looked at him "You've been staring for over a minute!"

"She's flawless"'I sighed. Riker eyed me "You sure? You usually go for the non geek chicks"

"Why do you always look at girls in that way, there's more to them than the looks" I glared at him and he scoffed and skated off. Guess I shall do the same.

*End Of Ross's POV*

Ross Lynch was staring at me. At what I don't know because I'm flabber all over and my face makes donkies faint.

"I guess this birthday isn't just awesome for me, eh, EH?" Kayleigh kept elbowing me. I looked at her, then at my body and back at her.

"I don't think so"

*Two Hours Later*

Things got competitive when we played dodgeball with the Lynches and Ellington and I crashed into Riker enough times to have knocked him out but he was up and running like most of us (Ry's girlfriend was at the cafe with Rydel watching us all) who were back at the ramps and it was all about speed. I think Kayleigh is loving her birthday and so were we we all (me, Beverly, Allie, the Lynches and Ell). I haven't had the guts to speak to Ross at all and I think I blew my chances with my high pitched laugh and my looks.

I was casually doing stunts when Allie calls my name. All her words seem blurred because I sense something bad happening.

"Watch out!" Kayleigh yelled but too late. I just had the most painful frontal collision with Ross: He grabbed my hands to keep me up but with the impact we were pushed together, my wrist clicked and a spark of pain travelled my body as I hit the floor.

"Are you ok? Stupid question" Ross spoke from above me. I focused on his eyes and was probably blinking in the most retarded way ever. His stare womdered down my right arm and his eyes grew incredibly big "Does your right wrist hurt?"

I nodded and looked down at it, after that, the whole skateboarding hall was made silent by my whistle like scream.

"IS IT NORMAL FOR MY THUMB TO TOUCH MY FOREARM AND MY BONE TO POKE OUT?!?!"

Everyone circled me and then flinched away at the gory sight.

"How about rather than looking we get her to a hospital?!" Rydel shouted from the cafe. Thanks.

To not injure me anymore, I went in my car with Ross and the girls (he insisted) and the rest in the van. From the reception, I was sent straight to surgery and then they warned my parents.

*Ross's POV*

I just can't believe how badly I broke Skylar's wrist. I'll never get over this one.

"It's not your fault son, accidents happen" Her dad, Mr Wood, patted my back.

"Here darling, try to cheer up, the surgery was succesful and she's fine, now getting a yellow cast put on in your honour" Her mum, Mrs Wood, told me and handed me some hot chocolate "Oh and she wants to see you"

I shot up and went in her room "IM SO SORRY WOMAN"

Skylar laughed her adorable laugh and smiled "Its okay, quit worrying"

I walked to her "Okay fine, how can I make it up to you?"

"You can sign my cast first?" She gave me a pen. I wrote 'To one of the most talented girls I know, get well soon! Oh and I love your eyes ;)' and signed it.

"Well, I gotta go because your family wants to see you" I got up and got on walking "Promise me something Skylar. Promise that we'll see each other again"

She flushed bright red "Course"

I took off my metal heart necklace and put it on her "Now we have to, see ya"

"See you soon!" She exclaimed.

*End Of Ross's POV*

I can't quite believe that despite I broke my wrist in the worst way, I get to see Ross again!

Madison walked in looking at the pictures of how my wrist was before whilst listening to "Cruisin' For A Bruisin'".

"How did you even do that?!" She shrieked.

I shrugged carelessly "I cruised, and I bruised...hehehe"
