Chapter 5- I Think I Love Her

My phone started ringing. Oh it was dad telling me I had to go home for some crap dinner with friends.

"For God's sake, look Ross I'm so sorry but I have to go for this dinner I don't even want to go to" I told him as I got up.

"The least I can do is drive you to the beach, come on" He lifted me onto his shoulder and got down.

"Ok Ross, we're down, you can put me down too"

"Hmm, nah" he laughed manically and started running and when we got inside the mall, he deliberately went on the escalators backwards so I'd think I would fall.

"ROSS SHOR LYNCH IM GONNA KILL YOU!!!" I shouted playfully when we got to the car park and he started spinning around and I got the loudest giggles.

Eventually he sat me down in his car.

"It wasn't too bad or was it?"

"It was fun I admit but I swear to God, there will be payback so watch out for it" I warned him as I put my seatbelt on and we drove singing to "Paradise" by Coldplay to the beach.

"Look Ross, I had so much fun today" I sat on the car hood.

"Me too, you do surely know how to party without the music!" He smiled "You know, I was wondering if you'd like to go on a date with me tomorrow at 7?"

"I'd surely love to" I smiled and I noticed him leaning in so I did the littlest of moves and our lips connected. His lips were ever so soft and this kiss sent sparks of electricity everywhere.

"I hope I'm not holding you up" He mumbled half way.

"No, no who cares" I muttered and pulled him back to me. I eventually had to let him go and leave to my house.

*Ross's POV*

"I'm the happiest guy on Earth, I'm the happiest guy on Earth" I chanted as I walked in my house.

"What's up with you?" Riker laughed from the kitchen so I went there.

"See this?" I circled my mouth with my index finger, showing the red lipstick around it.

"Who did that to you?" Rocky asked.

"Skylar Ann Wood!" I exclaimed and they all cheered.

"Get in there homeboy!" Riker hugged me.

"I also asked her on a date and she said yes!" I cheered with them.

"Dear god, what happened to you?" Mum asked.

"Nothing" I went high pitched.

"That mum, is the power of smooching" Rocky said and they all cheered. I'll be the one cheering when I'm kissing Skylar tomorrow. But I need to find an innovative way to steal her heart.

I just can't get her out of my mind, she has this angelic smile and is so innocent and that's really cute.

My eyes widened and I rushed up to my room.

*End Of Ross's POV*

*The Next Day*

When I woke up, Allie, Beverly, Rydel and Kayleigh were crowding me.

"FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!" I jumped up and screamed.

"Good morning to you too" Rydel smiled 'So, we heard its your big day!!!!

"I'm not getting married to Ross just yet" I yawned and covered my mouth whilst they all squealed above me "How did you get in?"

"Your brother let us in" Beverly laughed "Now, we heard you have a date with Ross today"

"And I can tell you from the two other girls he was with before, Ross always makes a move at dates" Rydel said.

"So let's get you geared up with a new outfit and a new hairstyle" Kayleigh smiled.

"So get up specky" Allie pulled me up.

I eventually went to take a shower and put on a textured green skater dress and black vans then we all went.

*About 7 Hours Later*

I settled on this really cute top, some jordans and a skirt then we went on to the hairdresser's and got my hair cut, it was waist length and now it was 4 inches from my shoulders.

"Wow" Kayleigh sighed and put her hands to her chest "She looks stunning"

"Tell me about it" Allie exclaimed.

I had on a denim shirt with the Rolling Stones logo all over it, a red skater skirt, black and white Jordans, some bracelets and a butterfly necklace.

"Well, shall we pass the time- Too late he's here" Rydel squealed "Ooh bunch of Roses, go get her Ross!"

"Shut up man, c'mon" I said and they all followed me downstairs. Ross was talking to someone on the phone.

"..And then I" He stopped and stared at me mesmerised "I-I'll call you back...You look beautiful"

"Thank you" I probably turned as red as my lipstick.

"Who'd say that Skylar would get herself a guy before me" Madison said.

"Well, shall we go before my family embarrasses me anymore?" I smiled and he shrugged and followed me. When we got in his car, we were driving and I noticed...dog shit in our way.

"I'd watch out if i-crap" I laughed.

"Literally, I guess this calls for car wash" He laughed equally and we went off to this car wash in the petrol station. I made sure all windows were shut and suddenly began to loose air.

"I feel so restricted here" I looked around.

"Don't worry, I'm right here" Ross put an arm around me and in a matter of seconds I had kissed him again. I'm not quite sure about how red I flushed just then.

"You look really cute when you blush" He smiled and put his hand beneath my chin before kissing me and then came the sparks and muscle spasms and I decided to run a hand through his hair.

"I never knew your hair was so soft" I giggled "It feels like a puppy"

"Thank you, well, we're finished here, shall we go?" He smiled and I nodded. I was too lost for words after that kiss.
