Chapter 7- The First Couple Kiss

I was still dazed the morning after I got with Ross. I got up from my bed and went to Maddy's room.

"Mads can we talk?" I poked my head in.

"Come on in!!" She smiled "What's up?"

"Um well, I might be dating Ross...."

"Hold on..what?" She screamed "My baby sister has a boyfriend, about time"

"Ok whatever" I sighed and left the room. I took a shower and put on a lace beige dress, a brown jacket and some matching ankle boots, brushed my hair into a messy bun and went downstairs. My mum startled me by staring wide eyed at me.

"What?" I shrugged.

"Nothing, how was the date?" She circled me "Anthing NEW?"

Don't give in Skylar "Yes, Ross and I are together"

"I knew it!! This is huge, it's your first real boyfriend, how about first kiss?" Mum began questioning me non stop and ultra fast. I slowly backed away from the kitchen and ran out into the warm morning sun. I got out my phone and called Ross.

"Hey Skylar" he answered happily.

"Hey can we meet at that cafe at the beach, my family found out about...last night" I laughed at the sound of that.

"I'm there and same happened to me, I'll see you soon"

"See ya" I hung up and walked quickly to the beach. I was staring at my feet when I crashed into someone.

"Oops, sorry"

"It's ok" they replied and I carried on then sat opposite Ross and he had the cutest grin on his face.

"You're a dork" He laughed.

"I thought you knew that" I giggled.

"Yeah, sort of" he smiled "Look, I think we both feel really awkward about...being a couple so I thought we could go out together...as a couple"

"I'd love to" I beamed. I was genuinely happy inside "And when's that?"

"Does tonight work for you, and I have a good plan, but you need to come to my house tonight and make sure you're allowed to stay" he winked.

"Watch it" I laughed "I live on the same road as you, I think I can"

**7pm**

I put on a dark blue silk skater skirt with a gold belt and matching gold heels. My hair was in a wavy side ponytail and I had a bag with a change of clothes and essentials, bring on tonight.

I walked along the path to Ross's house. When the door opened (all by itself may I say) and I saw the most romantic path of rose petals leading me to 3 paths. I shut the door behind me and saw a note saying "Take your shoes off and follow path 1 (on the right)".

I did so and followed them, nearly slipping and was lead to the kitchen where Ross was sitting on a kitchen stool wearing a white t-shirt, jeans and blue converse along with a blazer..and a rose in his mouth. I got the giggles as soon as I saw him, but straightened up. The house looked beautiful.

"You look beautiful" he smiled and I blushed. Ross stretched his arm out and I took his hand, he twirled and sat on his lap.

"You really do know how to be romantic" I smiled.

"Anything for my favourite girl" he kissed my cheek "So, dinner?"

He walked me over to the table and lit some candles then sat opposite me. YES, my favourite.

"You look happy" Ross grinned happily.

"Oh it's just that spaghetti bolognaise is my favourite meal" I looked down and started eating. Ross moved a few seats closer to me and began to feed me whilst we talked.

"You know this date is really breaking the ice between us" I stroked his hair and he blushed "You look so cute when when you blush"

"Thanks, I had to clear the whole house of my siblings so we can have some 'us' time" he laughed "Since we're finished, living room,"

I got up and he wrapped his arms around my waist then we carried on, gosh do I love this side of Ross. The living room had its curtains shut, lights dimmed and some strawberry scented candles along with snacks on the table.

"Just relax and watch a movie with me girl" he whispered and started kissing my neck. Then, he raised my chin, leaned in and our lips sealed together. I wish there were words to describe the level of perfection of the kiss. Just the way he pulled me closer or how our tongues moved in synch, it just gave me shivers and made my knees go weak so I clung onto his shoulders.

"I never knew your lips were so sweet, or that you were such a good kisser" he played with my hair and eased my hairband off.

"You're not the only one in shock" I sat down and he sat beside me after blowing the candles out and turning off the lights. We cuddled up first, then he laid on me but I ended up laying on him and we ate loads of popcorn. No date can beat the great evening I had with Ross. Wow.
