Part 8

Violet's POV:

My eyes slowly opened to find Geo lying across from me, grinning at me.

"Good morning darling," he whispered.

I groaned and flopped onto my stomach, resting my head onto of my hands.

He chuckled and picked me up with the blankets still on me. I snuggled down into his chest as he carried me somewhere.

I didn't open my eyes when he laid me down, but I did when he came up sitting next to me with something.

I smelled something...it was...my favorite...HOT COCOA!!! My eyes flew open and I saw him holding two cups of the chocolate heaven. I smiled as he handed me my glass. I eagerly took it and took a tiny sip, not wanting to burn my mouth.

I took a couple more and then noticed something on the coffee table...it was my favorite board game, Candy Land!!!

My eyes lit up and next to it I saw the perfect thing...pop tarts!!! My favorite snack!!! I looked up at Geo, he was grinning back at me.

"How'd you know?" I asked him.

"Know what?"

"Know that all this was my favorite things?"

He shrugged.

"I don't know, lucky guess," he said.

I grabbed candy land, and a pop tart, and quickly set it up. I took a bite out of my pop tart and snatched up a card. Two yellow spaces. I moved my person to the second yellow square, which was also a passage way to go up farther.

"Whoa, nice job," Geo complimented me.

"Thank you," I replied. He picked up a card.

"Aw what?" He cried out.

I looked at his card to see he had lost his next turn.

"Ooo tough luck," I said.

I grabbed another card and turned it up, go straight to lollipop forest...ok yeah. When I was little I came up with a cheating mechanism.

I went up to lollipop forest and pick another card. One orange space. Geo picked up a card.

"Aw sweet! Go to gumdrop garden!" He exclaimed.

He went up to it and I picked another card, three green spaces. I was almost there!

"You better hurry up, we just started and I'm already way ahead of you," I told him. He sighed and picked another card.

"Ok where's...you've got to be kidding me." I already knew what his card was.

Go to plum tree, which was way at the beginning. I couldn't help it, I burst out laughing! He looked at me.

"Wait did you?..." He asked trailing off. I nodded my head still laughing like crazy. I looked up to see he wasn't exactly in the same mood as I was. I stopped.

"Geo relax, it's just a game. It's not that big of a deal," I said grabbing the next card. Two blues.

"I won!" I exclaimed. He just looked at me.

"Violet, you know that wasn't fair why did you do that?" He asked his voice getting a little louder.

"Geo I"-

"Cheating isn't exactly a funny thing. I mean seriously, maybe we should have played the game of life so you'd know what to do in the real world." He started yelling and his eyes were turning red. I sat there starting to huddle into the blankets.
