(Jason's POV)
Croix des Gardes Cannes, French Riviera:
The few movers that remained had just finished unloading the rest of the furniture and was pulling out of the driveway. Once they were gone I went inside the palace and started unpacking in the study room.
Six month's ago I gave up my position as Chief Executive Officer of Retail Quick Co. To my Chief of Staff Cade Thompson, as I prepared to leave California for France in pursuit of Tiana.
Days after Alison and I had broke up I called up my former friends Jonathan, Bryant, Carlos, De'Andre and Terrell in hopes of reconciliation before my departure. Surprisingly they forgave me for all that happened in past, from me breaking Tiana's heart to me turning my back on them in favor of Alison and our relationship.
Now in France, I'm here to get my world back by any means necessary. After having wasted years with someone other than my soulmate, I do not plan on making any more mistakes. I bought a palace in Cannes close to Tiana- The Palais Venitien; a 13- bedroom mansion on the hilltop above Cannes.
Aside from the fact that Cannes is a beautiful city and my place is amazing, I'm more excited to be reunited with Tiana after months(seemingly years) apart.
I just have to wait until night fall.
