I look to my right, at my identical twin sister, Krissa. She seems to be sleeping already. We've only been watching the movie for twenty minutes! Oh well, it's already four in the morning.
Her chin rests on her chest, her sandy brown hair falls across her face, hiding her naturally red lips. She'll have a sore neck when she wakes up.
With a sigh, I pull myself off the couch into a standing position.
Gently, I pick her up and set her back down, so she is laying on the couch. There, now she won't have a sore neck.
I walk over to where our best friends, Kyren and Uriah, are sitting. "Mind if I sit with you guys?" I ask, gesturing to Krissa.
"Sure." Kyren says, patting the cushion beside him.
"Thanks."
He smiles at me, his light brown hair nearly falling in his chocolate brown eyes, but it's not long enough.
He's actually really cute. My eyes widen at the thought. Where did that come from? I wonder, sitting down.
I look at Uriah. He seems to have a bit of a headache, as every so often, he'll blink his deep blue eyes slowly and reach up as though to touch his head, then drop his hand, right before it reaches his short dark brown hair.
I turn back to Kyren and see that he has fallen asleep, his arms crossed limply over his yellow tee shirt.
Then, pain shoots through my skull. My hand automatically goes to where it's hurting, directly above my left ear. I pull it away in surprise. It's hot, around the temperature of a live coal.
Curiously, my hand is the same temperature that it was before my head started hurting. I reach up again and find my head normal temperature as well. The pain stops abruptly.
I slide my hand down, and stop when I reach a small indent. I trace it with my finger. It's in the shape of the letter 'U'.
Uriah stands up, and without warning, collapses.
Alarmed, I get up and stumble toward him. I feel dizzy. Losing my balance, I trip over my own foot and fall.
The world slips away, leaving nothingness in its place.

WerewolfI smell blood. His blood. I pull away and look at him. My eyes stop at a blood patch on his arm. "No! Tell me no!" he drops his gaze. "I'm sorry." I whisper. "It's too dangerous. You should stay away from me!" he brushes my hair gently from my face...
