A/N I would like to dedicate this chapter to my best friend, OliviaZacharias.
Kyren's P.O.V.
Kyanna walks away and doesn't turn back. I hope she's not mad at me. The real reason I wanted to witness a change, is that I wanted to be able to reassure her during it. Because I know that the change is painful. I want to comfort her. But she wouldn't like that.
I also kind of want to become a werewolf. I don't know why, I just do. I always have, even before I knew they were real. It just seems so cool to be half wolf.
The instant she steps onto the trail I realize that I have to follow through with my threat and quietly follow her.
After about twenty minutes of walking, she falls onto the ground, her face reflecting obvious pain. She lets out a cry of agony.
Kneeling beside her, I brush my fingers over her hair. She looks at me, and her pain changes to anger for a moment before resorting to a mask of pain as she grits her teeth. She doesn't want me to hear her scream.
As much as I know I wouldn't be able to handle it for long I whisper "It's okay." she seems to understand my meaning and goes limp, letting out a muffled cry as she tries to stop it from escaping.
Fur begins to sprout from her body and her facial shape begins to change.
She lets out another cry that is more wolf-like than human.
Kyanna lets out a choking noise as her teeth begin to grow longer and sharper. Claws sprout from her fingertips.
Suddenly, she springs to her feet and turns to me, a low, angry growl escaping from her lips.
Her words come back to me. 'when I have to drag your bloody carcass back here' I shudder and wish I hadn't been so stupid.
I barely have time to jump back as she lashes out at me, her claws narrowly missing my chest.
She looks at me and I realize her eyes are ice blue, not golden amber, like usual. Suddenly it's a fll blown attack, and it's all I can do to continue dodging her blows.
She howls loudly and swipes at me once more, her claws opening a gash on my upper left arm, before she collapses and howls again, this time, in pain, I think.
She howls again, beginning to sound more and more like a wolf, each time.
Her fur changes from her hair color, brown, to a dark silver. Her body shape begins to change to that of a canine.
Her head shifts and she looks at me, I notice her eyes are their usual golden amber color.
I keep my eyes locked with hers and before I know it, she has leapt to her feet, and is slowly padding towards me. I grab a stick from the ground and raise it. Her eyes fill with sadness as she cowers and backs away.
I drop the stick. "I'm sorry." I say, and she slowly comes toward me again, wariness in her eyes as she glances at the stick every so often.
I kick it away and she seems more relaxed. "Kyanna?" I whisper, she cocks her head. "Can you understand me?"
She nods, so I collapse into a sitting position and cross my legs. She curls up and places her head in my lap. I lean against a tree and we fall asleep.

I wake to the sound of a muffled wolf's howl.
She's changing back.
She's already in the stage where she looks like a Hollywood werewolf, and her ice blue eyes are shining with bloodlust as she advances toward me.
"Kyanna!" I cry out.
She stops and shakes her head before collapsing again. Her painfilled screams begin to sound more human.
She goes limp. Blinking her beautiful eyes open, she stands up and her face contorts to a mask of rage. She grabs my wrists and pins me to a tree.
"Sorry?" I try.
She just gets madder

WerewolfI smell blood. His blood. I pull away and look at him. My eyes stop at a blood patch on his arm. "No! Tell me no!" he drops his gaze. "I'm sorry." I whisper. "It's too dangerous. You should stay away from me!" he brushes my hair gently from my face...
