Chapter 1: First Day Of School

Naruto's POV

Today I start the first day of school! I'm excited! Or should I be? Well I guess I'm having mixed emotions, but it'll soon wear of I hope. I dressed in the school uniform and placing my glasses on my face, smiling and looking confident at the mirror. I hopped downstairs and made breakfast for myself. After I finished making my breakfast I went to brush my teeth.

My Mom woke up rubbing her eyes. "Ohayo, Naruto." I smiled. "Hi Mom, I'm going to school now." I gave her a peck on the cheek and grabbed my things. "School? Naruto your crazy there's no school." I chuckled. "No mom, there is school today. It's the first day." She scoffed and ruffled my hair. "Ok, Ok. Go have fun at school."

I smiled and headed out the door. "Another year of academic acheive-" I was interrupted by a screeching noise of tires. "GET OUTTA THE WAY MORON!" I turned around to see where the voice came from. It was a guy around my age with jet black hair and a cold look. Next to him in the passenger seat was a girl with pink hair and jade eyes. 'S-She's beautiful..' I quickly got out of the way of the guys way. One of her friends threw a bag from Burger King at me.

She flipped the bird and stuck her tongue out at me. 'Well her friends clearly hate me.' I kept walking to the bus stop, my mind wrapped around that girl.

Sakura's POV

"You didn't have to be so rude, ya know?" Sasuke scoffed. "Well he shouldn't have gotten in the way." Ino bumped into the conversation. "And did you see the way he was staring at you?!" Ino said while snapping her fingers. "Sasuke-kun should beat him up!" I rolled my eyes. "You're making my ears bleed already!" Ino sat back down and mumbled something under her breath. I turned around and scolded her. "What was that, Ino-pig?!" She furrowed her eyebrows. "What yours billboa-" I interrupted her by colliding my fist in her face. She cupped her nose. "Hey!" Tenten snickered.

"Please don't get any blood in my car!" I smirked. "Sure thing." We got to school. A nerd stopped in front of me. "Here's all your homework for this week S-Sakura." He handed a stack of papers in front of me. I took them and smiled. "Thanks Kaneki." He bowed and stepped aside. Sasuke jumped in front of him when he noticed he was staring at me. Some girl jumped in fear as I walked by. I smirked. I enjoyed them fearing me, that way they'll know who their messing with.

Sasuke walked me to class, giving me a peck on the cheek when we got there. "See ya Sakura." I smiled and walked inside. "Ms.Haruno you're late." I gave him a closed eye smile. "Aren't I always, Sensei?" He sighed under his mask. "Take your seat." I headed up to my seat and motioned my head telling her to get up. She quickly grabbed her things and rushed somewhere else.

"Alright class. The principal, Tsunade, has asked us to assign partners for the year. Since this is your homeroom, you'll be partners with this person for all of your classes. Any volunteers?" He looked around. "Ok then, I'll choose for you." He glanced at me. "Haruno. How about you...partner up with...erm...you! Mr.Uzumaki." The boy he called out looked up from his books. "Uh...Sorry what?" Kakashi-sensei gave him a closed eye smile. "You're partners with Sakura." I gave him a wry smile. "Sup."

Naruto's POV

I was freaking out! What should I do?! Am I lucky or dead?! I don't even know!! Kakashi-sensei finished calling out the names. Sakura walked up to me and placed her hands on my desk, towering over me. "Hey partner." I sat there awkwardly, not knowing what to do. My face grew hot by the second. "H-Hi" I said sounding like a teenage boy going through puberty. She still stood there smiling. "Just to get things straight, I'm not the best student sooo...."

"I'll do it all for you!" I shouted. I covered my mouth. "Uh...Bye." I bolted for an escape. She stared at me confused, as I fled for my life.
