Chapter 2: Study Buddies

>>Timeskip: Next Morning<<

Sakura's POV

I stood outside waiting for Sasuke. "He's really a ba-" Ino placed a hand over my mouth. "Save it Sakura. There's no need to get all cranky early in the morning. Besides, anger gives you wrinkles." I rolled my eyes.

Sasuke finally pulled up and we hopped in his car. "It's about time you got here!" I yelled at him. He glanced at me from the corner of his eye and didn't acknowledge my presence. I looked outside my window and received a message from my dad. I replied and before I could send it Sasuke snatched my phone.

"Hey! What's your deal?!" He continued scrolling through my phone. I snatched it back. Sasuke's an extremely jealous person. He would mark his property whenever he wanted to. And I just so happen to be his property.

When we got to school, I got out of the car and Sasuke grabbed my wrist and pushed me in a closet. "You're not cheating on me are you?" I looked around. "Why would I?!" His grip tightened around my wrist. "Are you lying?" I tried to loosen his grip but it grew tighter. "You're hurting me!" He let go and opened the closet door and left without a word.

Ino soon popped up. "What was that about? Did you guys get in a fight?" I rubbed my wrist, trying to make the blood flow normally again. "I don't even know anymore."

Naruto's POV

I went to class again trying to ignore the "incident" that happened yesterday. I awkwardly sat in my seat, full attention on the board as the pink-haired beauty passed by me.

After classes ended I headed home and layed on my bed. I was doing my homework when my mom called me downstairs. "Yes Mom?" She smiled. "You have a visitor." She said happily while leading me to the living room. There she was...the pink-haired beauty herself. I stood there in awe, trying to make out if this was real.

My mom jabbed my in the ribs. "Aren't you gonna introduce me to her?" I blinked my confusion away. "Uh...T-This is-"

"Sakura. Haruno Sakura." She said while extending her hand along with a genuine smile. My mom shook her hand and smiled. "I'm Naruto's Mother. You can call me Mrs. Uzumaki if you wish." Sakura smiled. "Nice to meet you."

I turned to Sakura. "You can head upstairs to my room." She smiled and headed upstairs. My mom poked me in the ribs playfully. "She's really pretty. Is she your girlfriend?" She cooed whispering in my ear. I backed away. "N-No...I wish..."

She smacked me across my arm with a rag. "Cheer up son! If I can get a hunky husband like your father, I'm sure you can get a beautiful girl." I raised my eyebrow and she shot me a look. "Don't tell him I said that though."

I head upstairs and opened the door to my room and I found her sitting on my bed looking around my room. She noticed me walk and stood up. "Sorry I was sitting on your bed. I didn't know where else to sit." She giggled. Her laugh was the most beautiful thing I've EVER heard.

I turned crimson red. "N-No problem." She smiled. "So what are we going to do?" I went to my desk and took out some papers. "Uh...I made some extra notes you could use to help you with our exam next Friday." She took them. "Thanks. Didn't know you had all of this planned." I scratched my cheek nervously. "I uh...didn't know when you were coming."

We studied for a while and reviewed some things for our exam. She seem really interested in it and a quick learner. She looked really cute when she got frustrated. I couldn't help but blush every time. She seemed so innocent. I don't understand why people were so scared of her...

Suddenly a gun shot burst through the window. She immediately grabbed me and through me on the floor along with her. She quickly pulled out a gun and shot back out the window. I layed there in shock, eyes wide open. The only thing running through my mind was: 'Not innocent...DEFINITELY not innocent!..'

She looked back at me and gave me a nervous smile. "Sorry about that. I'll pay for it tomorrow, k?" She fixed my glasses since they were crooked from the fall. She got off me and got on the window sill and shot me a smile. "See ya tomorrow!"

After she left my Mom burst in the door. "WHAT HAPPENED IN HERE?!" I laughed nervously. "Studying?..."

'I'm totally dead...'
