Coming back to my own reality, I realize there are some things that I can deal with and fix while other things I cannot. With my father not liking Shiriki, I know I am going to have to face that head on at some point in time. I can't just let that pass me by.
Kimber; if the baby is Shiriki's I don't know if I would be able to continue my relationship with him. I know that sounds somewhat immature, but I have my own proprieties. Then, if I do stay, I know that Kimber will not want her baby around me.
Everything else will just have to be as it is.
Sitting in my room, I look around at all the new pictures that I have of me and Visellia, me, Tyasia, and Kinsey, me and Shiriki, me and Rory, and me and Cayne. He has warmed up to me and apologized for him sneering at me on many occasions. I smile at that picture, Cayne looks cute when he is smiling and having a good time. I take the pictures down and place them neatly in a box. This is the last few weeks before Visellia, Rory, Shiriki, Cayne, Tyasia, Andy, Kinsey, and I graduate. Visellia and I have to take down the things in our townhouse and pack them away before graduation day and we have decided to get a head start on it.
Tyasia and Kinsey have come to help us out. "This is a bittersweet moment, Sirrah." Tyasia places some of my bathroom things in a box labeled 'bathroom'.
"That it is. College has been a real trip." I take down more pictures.
"Well, we made it through even though we aren't at the same colleges." Kinsey grabs some shoes and places them in another box.
"It has." I stare at a picture of me and Shiriki and smile. "Did you ever get with your teacher?" I look back at Tyasia.
"He is pursuing me now that I am graduating. The college has this strict teacher-student policy going on." Tyasia explains while moving to the closet. "Whoa. Nice wardrobe."
"Thanks. The modeling pays me well with clothes, shoes, and money." I nod.
"What about you, Kinsey? We hadn't heard about any man in your life." Tyasia jokes.
"Girl, I don't need no damn man. However, I do have a little something waiting on me here in Atlanta. I met him when we came to visit Sirrah." Kinsey blushes madly.
"Whooo." Tyasia and I whoop at Kinsey.
"Shut up. Y'all ain't shit." We all laugh and continue packing and talking about life after college and what we were going to do. Visellia even joined in on the conversation. Life after college, we will be working and in the real world of reality.
