Hey guys,
People are in my inbox about how Kevin committed suicide. You guys are really upset with me about that, aren't you? Well, you should listen to the song and read the lyrics of the song that I include in the chapter because 9/10 it has a significant meaning!
Look, suicide is an important topic, and no one should ever feel so low that they take their own life. Suicide is a sensitive subject, and what better way to spread the awareness than talk about it? So yeah, Kevin did TRY to commit suicide; however, he's not dead. Some people are not that lucky to make it out though.
Kevin said in his song, "Told Me", that he had the thoughts of ending it all by committing suicide, and I found that to be significant. Though Kevin is tough on the outside, inside, he's still soft. I'm trying to make the readers more perceptive of the point of views of both Angelique and Kevin. So, stop being mad with me. There are celebrities who literally have it all, but feel so alone and isolated. Some literally take their own life! For example, Robin Williams.
Kevin harmed himself in Chapter 5, and it's going to carry a significant meaning in the book, and it's going to open the eyes of everyone (including the readers). Angelique and Kevin are both going through a heap of emotions, and in the end, both have to realize that they are being insensitive towards one another. Soooo, just keep reading and waiting because I promise there is always a meaning to the chapters I do.
If you know someone who is contemplating suicide, tell someone. Be there for them. Do not leave them alone.
If you are the person that wants to commit suicide, please don't. You're not forgotten about or counted out. I know some days are horrible, but I promise, there is always a reason to exist. I KNOW! You don't see the reason to exist! It's covered by the many excuses to take your own life. LIVE! Tell someone, talk to someone. If it seems like no one is listening, God is. I promise you that. Live your life! Don't end it. Take a deep breath and push.
