I had a deep sigh when I saw Mika ran as fast as she could. She really wanted Jeron to stay.
I smiled sadly.
Tama naman siguro ang ginawa ko, di ba?
I let her go because I love her.
Napailing ako. I never imagined myselt to fall this hard. And believe me, ilang araw kong pinag isipan to. I can't count anymore the sleepless nights I had just to make sure if this is the right thing to do.
Bigla nalang akong nagising isang araw, telling myself to let her go. I am a selfish one when it comes to a girl but Mika taught me the real meaning of love. And that is learning to let go with the person you love.
My phone vibrated. "Hello, friend?" its Jollo.
"Will you take the ticket? Drei is asking eh..."
Tumingin ako sa bintana at napaisip kung naabutan nga ba ni Mika si Jeron. I want to make it sure na hindi nasayang ang sakripisyo ko.
Kung naabutan man ni Mika, I am happy.
Pero paano kung hindi?
Kung wala mang second chance sa kanila, I would still accept Mika with wide open arms. Ganyan ko siya kamahal.
But I doubt it.
Napabuntong hininga ako nang makitang lumabas mula sa airport sina Mika. I think they are okay dahil base sa facial expression ni Mika, mukhang naabutan naman niya si Jeron. Her friends are teasing her.
And I guess, shes okay now. They are okay now.
I smiled sadly. Good job, Josh. I mentally tapped my shoulder.
"huy friend, ano na?"
My attention was shifted to Jollo.
"Yes, im taking it friend."
"Really? Well, see you in Texas friend!"
I smiled and ended the call. Yeah, im going back to Texas, I need this. Ito na nga yata ang sinasabi nilang soul searching and moving on.
Grabe, tinamaan talaga ako kay Mika.
You see? Dati nababaduyan ako sa mga ganyan, but look at now?? Im actually on the process!
I started my engine and headed to my place. Naka impake naman ako lahat lahat dahil nga naka plano na to.
I just want to make sure na bago ako umalis ay okay na si Mika. That she is happy with Jeron.
Sa nakikita ko naman, shes better off without me.
