Kassidy POV

A month has passed since the day Marcel and I had last spoken. He has tried texting me and calling me, but I rejected the calls and ignored the texts. Harry and I have talked a few times since then, but never actually hung out after that. He told me Marcel has been doing okay, but he told me about the incident that happened when we had an argument. I felt really bad for him, but I knew that we needed time apart from each other.

Since that day, Jennifer and I had gotten closer. I am going to miss her loads when she goes to University in England, along with Harry and Marcel. I agreed in visiting when I'm on vacation.

As I was walking around the shops with Jennifer, and suddenly my phone rang with Harry as the caller ID.

"Who's that?", Jennifer asked as she was rattling through the rack of sweaters.

"Harry", I said and she nodded.

"Hello?", I said.

"Hi, I have a huge favor to ask", Harry said.

"Which is?"

"Well, I am having a good bye party at my father's house on Saturday and I was wondering if you can come along."

"Uh yeah, I have to see."

"If it's about Marcel that you're iffy about, he agreed in not speaking to you if you'd like. But I know that he is dying to speak to you. It was a long month for Marcel. I just really want you guys to talk though, before he leaves."

"Uh, yeah. Sure, I'll go. I think it's time we'd talk too. Thanks for the invite, Harry."

"Okay, I'll see you", he hung up and I slid my phone back into my back pocket.

"What did he say?", Jennifer asked.

"He asked if I could go to the party", I said.

"Did you say yes?", she raised an eyebrow.

"Yep."

"Oh okay! Well we have to find an outfit then!", she said and I laughed.

"I don't think so."

"Why not?"

"I'm not going to impress Marcel."

"Ugh, okay. Suit yourself."

Marcel POV

"What did she say?", I asked Harry.

"She said yes." A smile grew on my face.

The past month had been the hardest month of my life. Even harder than the testing weeks at school. Ever since Kassidy and I took a break, I seemed to appreciate her more than I did.

As the saying goes, "Absence makes a heart grow fonder"

Or something like that.

Oxford had been my dream school, but Kassidy is my dream girl. I continued on going to England because I knew that I shouldn't quit University. I had to graduate, get a job, and support Kassidy.

I know, Marcel, why are you already thinking of that?

It's because I can imagine my whole life with her. I can imagine her with me by ocean, listening to the waves crash as we drift to sleep. I could imagine going to the park and have picnics every Sunday. I can imagine me with her. Every time I make up these scenarios, it makes me grow fonder of her. Since the last month was Kassidy-less, my scenarios are what I think of her by. Since she isn't here, I make up stories in order for her to be present in my mind.

Silly isn't it?

The thought of her, seeing her face again, makes me so happy. I miss her more than anything. Her laugh, her eyes, her smile, her adorable little nose. I messed with the necklace that I bought for Kassidy and I and twiddled it around with my fingers. I wonder if she's still wearing it. She said she'd never take it off.

"What should I do? You know, when she comes."

"You should talk to her", he smiled and I nodded.

That was a simple answer, but it was what I needed.
