You had moved to Mystic Falls about a year ago and in that year you had gone through many highs and lows. You made a few enemies but a lot of friends as well.

The Brady Bunch loved you to death and you knowing them all ever since you were five helped you to settle back in this town once again. You were best friends with Matt and Caroline.

Caroline was your shoulder to cry on and every time you needed someone to talk to you knew where you could go. While you were busy being you and having fun with your friends and also handling the supernatural drama you had caught the eye of a certain Original.

Kol Mikaelson the ever so famous bad boy with the to die for boyish smile and the bad boy smirk. The breath-taking jawline which had the heart racing of many girls even you and those muscles.....made knees go weak.

He had a certain intimidating effect on everyone. Everyone except you well you had a crush on him but seeing the kind of man he was you decided that he was trouble and so you decided to stay away from him but him being head over heels for you made him driven with a passion that led him to let you in and see his inner demons.

Slowly but steadily Kol started making a place in your heart and the once buried feelings had resurfaced. He told  you all about him. How he was neglected by his siblings, how he was never accepted, how his magic was taken away from him. He told you each and everything and then you realised that beneath all that bad boy covering was a broken, neglected, rejected and unloved man who never got the things he wanted and all this was his way of coping with the rejection of his family. All he ever wanted was to be accepted for who he was and to be loved for what he was.

But even though knowing all this you thought that he could never love someone like you. You were not the type of girl that were the first choice of Everyman but still you had your perks. Maybe not all but you did manage to turn a few heads towards you but you bothered least about them. So in the end you decided to friend zone Kol even though your heart ached to love him and give him the love he deserved but yet you controlled your inner desires and carried on the way you had been doing for a year now.

It was a regular Saturday evening you were coming home from your boyfriends place or should you say ex-boyfriends house as you had just witnessed him cheating in you with the girl you hated the most. You felt like breaking down any minute now but still you managed to keep your tears in  and walked yourself to your house.

You were about to open your door when you heard a familiar voice. "Darling, ah! I have been looking for you" he said in his casual playful manner. You took a deep breath and turned with a smile towards him. Upon seeing you his smile quickly disappeared and a worried look took over his face. He vamp sped to you and cupped your face ever so gently in his hands. He looked at you with deep concern in his chocolatey brown eyes. Even though you didn't want you but seeing the care and concern he had for you, you broke down in his arms as he pulled you in a protective hug. His embrace was welcoming and was filled with deep care. He let you pour your heart out and only rubbed your back gently.

After a few minutes you stopped and he pulled back again cupping your face while wiping away your tears. "Speak to me Y/n, I swear who ever did this to you will not live to see another day" he told you still holding you. "It's..it's okay Kol I'll...I'll be fine thank you for being here" you managed to say your voice a little shaky. "Darling please tell me what happened! Please! If you ever considered me your friend Darling, then please tell me what happened to you " he pleaded to which you looked down and said " Kol I thought my life was going good but today I found out that I wasn't created to be loved. No one will ever love me" you said letting out a small sad chuckle. "Why would you even say that ?" He asked and you looked at him. " Kol look at me. I mean do you really think that someone could love a mess like me. I mean just look at me " you replied looking him in the eye. "I am looking at you and do you know what I see?" He asked and you answered "what?"

"I see a beautiful girl that can be as good as an angel and as bad as the devil himself, I see someone that would die in the blink of an eye for the ones she loves, I see a girl who deserves a guy who would give her all the happiness that she deserves, I see a girl who never gives up no matter what. Someone who doesn't care what people think or say about them." He replied while looking at you straight in the eye.

Love, passion and care were the only feelings that you felt for him at the moment.

"Why would you say all this about me?" You asked.

" Because I still remember the day when I saw you coming in the grill with the Blonde girl, your laugh edged in my ear as you were the most beautiful girl I had ever laid my eyes upon. I remember the day we first talked and you thought that I was a jerk. But ever since I had seen you I couldn't stop thinking about you, the way you smiled, the way you laughed, the way you played with your hair everything about you made me go crazy"

You stood there watching him as he continued

"In my thousand years on this planet I had never met someone as breath taking as you. Yes ,y/n you take my breath away. I have never felt this way about anyone but I have seen you at your highest and I have seen you at your lowest and I wish to accept you with both. I as they say am in love with you" he confessed and hearing those loving words about you, your heart fluttered and with out wasting another second you crashed your lips against his.

You both kissed each other in a passionate way and when you both pulled back to take a breath you uttered "I love you too Kol" with that you kissed him again.

After that day you both started dating and lived a happy life filled with love and passion.
