Yay....finally there is a kiss.
Maya's pov.
I woke up. Ugh it's Monday. I got dressed, and put a messy bun. As I walked to lucas's house I was wondering what if we are more than best friends.
Nah we are best friends forever right? I don't know, should I kiss him, I mean i like him.
Lucas's pov.
I was eating breakfast when maya walks in. This is awkward. "Hey." "Hey babe," did she just say babe? "So are we going to go?," she snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Yeah, sure." When we got to school, maya walked to riley and I walked to the football team. And yes I am the quarterback.
I was walking to my locker and bump into maya. She was on top of me. We were starting into our eyes, and we leaned in, then riley comes and helps maya up.
Maya's pov.
I love lucas, but we are only best friends right? And it is going to be cliché too, cause I am cheerleading captain and he is a quarterback. And if you are asking why I am a cheerleader, lucas convinced me.

Lucas's pov.
We have football practice today, and maya and the cheerleaders are going to be there too.
Maya's pov.
We were practicing a routine when riley stops. "What is it riles?" "I got a new cheer that will make lucas 10x better." "He is going slower, ok, go ahead."
"Give me a L!"
"L!," we repeat.
"Give me a U!"
"U!"
"Give me a C!"
"C!"
"Give me an A!
"A!"
"Give me a Y!"
"Y!"
"Give me an A!"
"What does that spell!?"
"LUCAYA!," the team says smiling.
"LUCAYA?!," i say confused.
Lucas starts running faster and scores a practice touchdown. "Riley what does lucaya means?" "A ship name." "What ship name?" "OMG, how do you not know your own ship name, everyone talking about."
"So the ship is me and lucas?" "Yeah." I love that ship.
It started to rain and everyone ran to there cars. "Lucas!," i say while running to him. "Yes, maya?" "I... I...," i grab his shirt and pull him close. "I love you," i crash my lips onto his.
Between kisses,"i...love...you...too."
One word, what? I can't believe I just did that.
