Riley is not friends with them, cause she thinks she is better off without them. So, I am going to warn you. Something is going to change, it involves lucaya.

Maya's pov.
Zoe is such a cutie she said she was going to try Kayla as her name. "Maya, can a nickname for Kayla be kay?" "I have no clue, but we have to go, I don't want to be late for my first day of sophomore year."

"Are you going to my soccer game today?" "Yeah." "Cool is lucas coming." "I will tell him it go." "Oh ok."

I got on my car, dropped zoe off, and drove to school. When I got there I got off the car. I walked in, and everyone was staring at me. "What now?"

Everyone pointed at my locker. I walked to my locker, and there in bold purple letters it said 'Have fun going to formal dateless maya-riles', I turned around. "Where is lucas?" "He is not here yet."

I need to find lucas. I called him. "Hello?" "Lucas!" "Maya i am driving, i talk to you when I get to school." "Ok bye."

Lucas's pov.
I got to school and headed towards maya, but then riley stops me. "You know it's sad that your girlfriend is cheating on you." "What?" "Yeah with a guy named john, something with a j." "You're lying."

"That's what you want to believe in. Things your girlfriend tells you to believe in." I walked away. Maya is going to hear me. Thinking I wouldn't find out.

She was by her locker with everyone around her. I marched over to her and grabbed her by the arm. "Hey! Let go of maya!" Everyone tried to take my grip off of maya. "Lucas you're hurting me!"

Maya's pov.
His eyes softened. He let go, but then he grabbed my hand and pulled me towards a empty classroom. He locked the doors and shut the windshields. He looked at me straight in the eyes. "Why?"

"Why what?" "Maya why would you cheat on me?" "Lucas! Who told you such a lie like this?" "Riley." "Riley wrote this on my locker," I said while showing him a picture.

Lucas's pov.
"Oh god, I can't believe I fell for that." She got closer to me, and pulled me down, crashing her lips onto mines. Our lips moved in sync. We stopped cause the bell rang.

We were in our art class, and I got a text from my mom.
