Chapter 18

Sophia's POV

Soon as dinner was finished I head up stairs to check on the clock

5:30 pm, I need to get dressed now. And prepare my hair and makeup for all of that type.

"Mom I'm gonna take a bath!" I shout as I hear her yell back okay', I head to the bathroom to take a bath.

I washed and cleaned every part of my body and stepped out of the shower into my room with my towel wrapped around me.

I took out my underwear and stuff like those and wore them, I looked for a mean while dress and just grabbed what ever I could find.

I dressed, and this thing I'm wearing is only for meanwhile. I grabbed my hair blower and dried my hair till its frizzy.

I heated up my curling iron and decided to check my wall page while waiting.

I walked over to my bed whee my laptop was, I clicked Facebook and typed in my email and password.

3 messages, I clicked the first one and realize all of them was from Shane

From Shane:

Ready? I'm picking you up in an hour

From Shane:
5:10
Hello? You there?

From Shane:
5:29
Guess not anyway, if you get this tell me and I'll pick you up

I smashed the like button and quickly went back to my makeup room, yes I have one cause my mom loves doing her makeup in here.

I took the curling iron and pressed it agains my hair and twirled it around till it heats my hair.

I release the curling iron from my hair and it bounced down to a curl, I did all this steps through my entire hair.

"Darling I'll do your makeup" my mom walks in without me realizing I just nod and she grabs her brushes

We have a lot of make up collections. Three drawers for eye shadow and lipstick and four for brushes, foundation and contouring brushes and stuff like those eye liner.

Believe, we have more in the garage, 2 boxes. Mom placed foundation and applied blush and did all of it.

"Look" she spins my seat till I faved the mirror in front of me, she did the makeup.facing away form the mirror for a surprise

My mouth dropped open into an 'I' shape, is this me? Is this really me? I questioned myself

"My baby girl so pretty, now get dressed up" she says staring at the clock it's 7:00

I dressed and paired it with the heels Laura bought me and not to forget the necklace Luke gave me.

I finished and looked one last time at the mirror, I look fantastic.

"Hurry baby girl cause Shane's waiting outside" she points out my window where a car was parked

I walked down the stairs and grabbed my purse and keys and all of those, my mom forced me to bring extra makeup.

Just in case.

I sighed and walked out the house, once I was about to close the door I felt a strong arm wrap around me.

He was strong... Shane I wanted to turn around to push him but he held me in place until I can feel his breath over my ear.

"You look good princess" I was frozen in place, I can see my mom smiling sweetly form my window.

Shane turns me around.. Guess to my surprise it wasn't Shane... But... Luke

I was stunned as he pulled my waist to make me closer to him, he smiled sweetly and kissed my cheeks softly.

"Let's go princess we don't want to be late, now do we?" He grinned and let's a hand out

I grabbed his hand and he walked is over to his car. He opened the door for and guides me inside until he closes the door.

He walks over to his side and sat down, starting the engine. The whole car ride was awkward and quiet.

A few glances here and there makes it more tense, so I looked out of the window.

I felt him touch my hand and twined his fingers with mine, I feel my face burn red.

"L-Luke I—" he cuts me off with a 'shhh' I didn't look at him but looked at our hands

Our now holding hands, I gulped and looked away when he was about to catch me staring.

Sooner or later the car stopped and we parked out of the school, once he opens the door I walked out.

Thanks to my clumsiness I trip, these heels don't suit me. I felt strong arms grab my waist to keep me balance.

"L-Luke you don't have to do that, just leave me—" he just looked at me causing me to stop.

He came his face closer so I stepped back until I felt the car behind me, he raised his hand over my head to pat my head.

I see him blush a bit "you know what let's just get in" he says without looking back at me

I nod even though he doesn't see it I just follow me, first the music was loud not until we arrived it was quiet an a soothing music.

A lot of people were already dancing, we walked to the main hall when all eyes starred at me.

"Is that Sophia?" A phew whispers was heard through the room

"Ladies and gentlemen! I would like to introduce you my... Girl friend" I was stunned after the last word

He held my hand and smiled at me, I can feel him smirk cause I'm blushing right now.

Wooh!!
Everyone cheered once I felt his breath next to my face "you don't have to be ashamed now come on let's dance"

He says and they cranked up the music, is this a prom or a club? Gosh. I sat down at the table when Luke was getting us some drink.

I saw Shane with Luke's sister, they were diving on the floor all happy. I chuckled at this sight.

Luke came back full handed and I helped him, "no it's alright" he said setting the drinks down

I took my drink and drank it, he knows I like strawberries. He laughs once Shane and Brianna aka Luke's sister.

They sit down next to us as Shane pins his stare at me "Sophia is that you?" Shane asks while Brianna chuckles

"No she any princess" Luke scoots near me and puts his arm around my waist

Shane have Luke a kneeing Luke and walks out with Brianna, brianna gives me a few winks then leaves with Shane to go dance.

I see Laura with tom and her bestfriends, I looked over to Luke and he was starring right into my eyes as if he can see my would.

My heart hammered in my chest, god damn it stop it heart! He leans closer to me.

Until I can feel his breath just few inches from me like if someone moved a bit we'd be kissing now.

He smiled and turns to look away, I sighed in frustration I thought he was going to kiss me, I crossed my arms when I felt him whisper in my ear

"There's plenty of that later" he then chuckles, am I in trouble?
