I was walking, or stumbling as one might say, back to my room after the festivities. I was too drunk to possibly sleep outside the gates tonight. I could barely even make it to my room. But before I reached my door, I saw a familiar face step out of a door that wasn't hers while she finished zipping up her pants.

"Fun night, Reyes?" She shot a smirk in my direction.

"That's what everyone else is doing, right? Having fun?" She started toward my direction as I stood in front of my door.

"Who was it this time?"

"What does it matter to you, Blake?"

"I was just wondering if you actually know his name." She opened her mouth slightly but shook her head angrily and continued past me. "Are you still trying to rebound or something? Is it working?" I asked softly. Raven and I were never close, but she's definitely tough, and I always kind of... admired that.

"Screw you." She continued without hesitation, until she tripped over her own two feet. I hurried over to kneel by her side.

"You okay?" She looked up at me with a defensive look in her eyes.

"Fine, thanks."

"Are you always this irritable? Or just when you're drunk?"

"You know nothing about me." She scoffed as she tried to bring herself to a standing position, but failed. I stood up and offered her my assistance, which she debated to herself for a few seconds before taking it. "Thanks... have a good night."

"Wait..." I stopped her before she started her way again, and I'm not completely sure why. The tipsy brain of mine was taking over at this point – I was speaking before I was thinking, and I didn't completely understand why I was saying what I was saying. "I didn't mean to say anything rude, I care about you, Raven. I know we're not close... but I care about you."

"Well... thanks I guess. I care about you too." She smirked again, but this time it was far more tender.

"Why don't you stay the night at my room?" She looked at me with soft, glazed eyes before grinning and following me into my small home.
