It was early morning and I was sitting down in front of the Tree of Souls, enjoying the peace that existed at that moment.

...I saw one of the people falling out of the aircraft...

...They had been shot at...

...Couldn't see their face clearly...

...But... That was Tsu'tey...

I put my face in my hands, forcing tears back. He would die and there would be nothing I could do about it.

I silently stared ahead of me, a few unrestrained tears and the occasional sob escaped. But my tears dried quickly when Mo'at joined me, the Skypeople would attack today to destroy the Tree of Souls, the direct line to the Peoples' ancestors.

The faint sound of aircrafts coming echoes in the mountains, like a continuos drum of war. I stood waiting while Mo'at paced in front of the tree. Looking up towards the sound of whirring engines and the cries and yells of the banshee's and Na'vi.

I closed my eyes and started to shift through people's minds, looking through their eyes. It's a bit strange seeing through another's persons eyes, nothing seems to be the same, colours are shades different and features may be sharper or blurrier than my own vision. People and the Direhorse's were being shot down at an alarming rate, it was terrifying seeing it through another person, I don't think I would have the courage to stay and fight with the amount of blood being spilt. The person who I was using as my eyes could smell the stench of death in the air even though the battle had just commenced. They soon started retreating due to the amount of explosives being used.

I was catching glimpses of Jake as he flew by my sets of eyes, he looked like the leader he was born to be.

I soon found Trudy in her craft, taunting a much larger one. There was an incredibly short stand off before the larger craft began firing at her, then she fired back, I heard her quietly say,

"I'm not the only one with a gun, bitch"

I would laugh at the pisses off Trudy, but the gun shots and missiles flying straight at her were too scared to even utter a sound of amusement back at my body.

I left Trudy to find Neytiri. I found her, she was spiralling through the trees, her banshee was dying. Down to the ground they went, she was flung off and went flailing across the floor only to then run back to her friend, now passed. She scanned the area with wide eyes, her people were falling, explosions were close by and one of the Direhorse was galloping away, but flames licked at its hide.

I returned to my body. Mo'at stared at me.

"Did you find my daughter? Does she live?".

I nodded, "She lives".

"Tsu'tey?" She whispered.

"I don't know," I answered.

I hope I could get to him and save his life. There was a sudden rumble through the ground, I looked for Neytiri's mind again to use her eyes. Massive animals charged through the trees, the same ones Jake and I encountered before being chased after by a Thanator. They crushed the the suits with their incredible bulk while wildly swinging their heads around, hammering whatever was in their way, guns were useless with their thick hide acting as armour.

"Jake, Eywa has heard you," Neytiri quietly said while using the collar around her neck to communicate with him.

I could hear the screech of Banshee from above.

"Eywa has heard you!" She yelled while holding the collar.

I expanded my mind, attempting to get a better understanding on what was occurring. The Banshee where fighting against the aircraft and I could feel the minds of Viperwolves taking down individuals with their compact yet powerful bodies. And a Thanator was lurking in the area. I felt the mind of Norm leaving the stylised sea container, his avatar must have passed or is badly wounded.

I felt Mo'at shake me and returned to my body. She pointed to the sky where a large aircraft could be seen through the structure that protected the Tree of Souls. I saw the Great Leonopteryx fly around the craft. Jake must be up there. Suddenly one side of it erupted in a fiery blast. It scraped against the rocky structure and one of the wings were roughly torn off, like a piece of paper. It then crashed into the trees below and exploded causing the surround trees to catch alight.

Another aircraft was above and quickly tilted to one side before a small explosion took place. Then one of the engines used to keep it aloft went BAM. That caused debris to fly everywhere while it spun out of control. It exploded a short distance away. One of the future memories then appeared in my mind. The one involving the scarred man.

I ran off to where Nix was sitting and commanded her to fly, Mo'at was yelling after my demanding an answer to where I was going.

I was forcing Nix to her absolute. I arrived at the fancy sea container just as a metal suit broke the window and then crushed one of the links. Jake attack but was soon thrown off on to the ground. He was clearly struggling to breath and his avatar fell only to get picked up by the hair soon after Jake re-established the link. He screamed in pain and his tail twitched wildly. I, then found it hard to breathe and landed Nix on the clearing near the fight. I saw Neytiri fire arrows at the scarred man. He seemed a tad surprised. Neytiri then ran to Jake's avatar and assumed a defensive position over his body. We watched him fall to the ground in his metallic suit, two arrows protruding from his chest.

She started whispering to Jake's avatar. I suddenly broke the link due to the lack of oxygen to my first body. I opened the link door and fell out onto the floor. I looked around for one of the exo masks, but there were none. I held my breath and opened the hidey-hole door, crawling out trying to find an exo mask t o keep my alive. I found one and managed to get it on my face and release the oxygen before I briefly blacked out. I came round in a minute and looked around to find Jake.

I saw them. He was in her arms. Tiny compared to Neytiri.

I walked back into my link and established the connection between my avatar and myself.

I found Nix staring at me. The sight of Jake and Neytiri reminded me of my love for Tsu'tey. I needed to save him. Mounting my banshee, I commanded her to once again fly and spread my mind out, looking for the comforting feeling of his mind against mine.

I found it faint, yet there. Tears rolled down my cheeks as I remembered my most recent future memory. The possibility of his death was overwhelming and I wish it would never come.
