I was getting into my link, then I heard Grace say some harsh words to Jake, that man was getting from her, but, I guess it is better to get something than to receive nothing, like me, she favour Norm, she really doesn’t like Jake and me? I seem to be the third wheel here- the tag along- I lay down in the link and shut the lid.

We are flying over a lake or something, a person with an exo-mask man’s one side of the air craft with Grace hanging some-what out of it, Jake man’s the other side with Norm hanging out of it, I’m in the middle of the craft, I have never been this bored, the three of them, plus the soldier, get to hang out of the air craft and get to have the wind rush past their faces, lucky buggers, Trudy, the pilot, gets to fly the plane, and I’m in the middle-back of the craft with my knees under my chin and my arms around my legs, I look out, there is a some-what large group of leather-looking purple ‘birds’ near the craft, one even squawks at us, the scenery in amazing, we passed over a large waterfall that I was having trouble seeing because Norm’s big, fat head was in the way. Jake yells and you can tell he in happy, I pulled a bit on my light-brown pants.
We landed in a part of the forest where sunlight steamed in through the extremely tall trees; I even think I saw a small steam, too.
Jake jumped out with the gun while the craft was still flying and pointed it everywhere, num-nut, then the other one jumped out with a gun, too.
Grace got out and told Trudy to cut the engines off, we were going to stay a while I guess.
Norm got out and forgot his pack, I grabbed it,
“Norm,” he turned to me, I chucked the pack at him, “Think fast,”
He managed to catch it, but barely.
“Stay with the ship, one idiot with a gun is enough,” Grace said to the man with the exo-mask,
He seemed extremely happy about this and Jake smirked,
I followed Grace, Norm and Jake to where they wanted to go.

They were taking samples, key word ‘they’, I trained for three years to do nothing,
Grace even told me herself, to go and stand by Jake and guard, SHE COULD HAVE USED THE OTHER GUY WITH THE GUN FOR THAT!!!!!
Jake started walking off and I followed him with unsure steps, he went around a corner and I followed him, I soon saw a small group of spiral plant that reminded me of fungus, I remembered that they were called Helicoradians.
Jake touched one, it quickly spiralled down into a tube-like thing, he then touched another, I then realized his mistake, the second one he touched, if it went down it would most likely touch the rest making them shoot down and I didn’t even have the fuzziest clue to lie beyond these plants. Not even two seconds later my guess was right, I rushed forwards to grab his wrist and pull him away, but I missed and he aimed his gun at a Hammerhead Titanothere, shit…
“Don’t shoot, don’t shoot,” I heard Grace’s voice say, “You’ll piss him off,”
“Yeah? Well, he’s already pissed off,” Jake stated,
“Clarity, what are you doing there?” Grace asked,
“Guarding, like you asked, but this moron here, got himself stuck in some deep shit,” I said, half of it was dipped and dripping with sarcasm.
The animal in front of us swung it’s head side-to-side violently, crashing into the trees around it.
“Jake don’t shoot, that armor is too thick, trust me,” Grace informed him,
The monster of a thing displayed a purple fan-like thing on its head,
“Do not run or he’ll charge,”
“So what am I supposed to do? Dance with it?” Jake asked sarcastically,
“Just, hold your ground,” Grace said,
It suddenly charged at me and Jake, he, being the biggest idiot ever, ran forwards screaming at it,
It stopped and ran away, looking behind while Jake swore ‘till his little heart was content.
I spun around as fast as I could as saw a Thanator climb up and jump over me and Jake,
“Jake,” I whisper, “If we get out of this alive I get to punch your lights out,”
“Deal,” he whispered back,
The Thanator turned to me and Jake, crap, crappetty, crap, crap, crap… crap.
“So, what about this one, run? Don’t run? What?” Jake said,
“Run,” I whispered,
“Run! Definitely, Run!” Grace commanded,
I didn’t need telling twice, I bolted into the forest with Jake hot on my heels, the leather-like panther chased after us, I ran forwards and did a zig-zag while running to try and lose the panther, Jake slipped into the hollow base of a tree to escape to Thanator’s hungry fury, he started shooting it, but it just snatched the gun out of his hands, he got away from it and started running towards me, I had stopped to was the panther try and get him from the tree, I turned to start running but,
“Clarity!” stopped me,
His bag was clamped in the jaws of the Thanator, which was violently swinging him around, he managed to get out of the bag and crawl away, but not for long, the panther spotted him and came chasing, when he was close enough I seized his hand and pulled him with me, I heard and waterfall and jumped of a small cliff with a long drop, I let go of his hand and propelled myself through the air like he had and dropped to the water below, I was submerged under water and started to freak, I opened my eyes and swum with the bubbles. My head broke the rough surface of the lake-like pool of water, I gasped for air, I saw Jake look up from the branches he was resting on when the Thanator growled at us, he held his hand out for me to grab, I did so gratefully and collapsed on a half-submerged tree branch breathing heavily.
“This is all your fault,” I accused falling into darkness.
