Unlike most days it was storming inside camp, once every six months Chiron lets the weather come inside to water the strawberry fields. It was not ideal. The camper weren't used to this kind of weather and had to cancel the days activitiesA girl was bolting up half blood hill, she ran for her life. Behind her , 3 harpies, slashing and lunging at her. She could see the camp entrance only 50 feet away. Out of breath and badly hurt from her encounter with these monsters, she still managed to fend them off. 30 feet away she thought, her vision started to dim, but she kept going. If she stopped she would die. The harpies screeched behind her and slashed again, this time cutting a deep gash in her leg. A firey pain went through her body,hot tears ran down her face.10 feet away, she was struggling to stay concious, all of the blood she had lost was really taking a toll on her. Almost there just a little further. She ran off the road towards the entrance to camp. 2 feet away, harpies screeched and lunged one last time, cutting another deep gash, but this time in her back. She collapsed on the other side of the protective barrier, she was safe, but her vision went fuzzy and the all she could see was black. Her body was limp.
Shouts came from somewhere in the distance. Campers rushed up to her and brought her down to the infirmary, where Will solace was waiting impatiently for his new patient.
