The rise of the falcon (ON HOLD)

And we're off! (XIV)

I awoke to Hazel shaking me. I groaned. No one should be up this early. The sun wasn't even out yet.

"Come on! Wake up Layla! Your gonna be late for the quest!" She urged. I rolled over and groaned again.

"The sun isn't up  so neither should I..." I protested.

"You'll be late!" She said, as if that  would get me up at this ungodly hour.

"Five more minutes..." I buried my face even further into the pillow.

"You said that five minuites ago!" She yelled and yanked the blanket off me.

"Okay! I'm up! Jeez!"  I said as I sat up.

I trudged over to my closet and chose a pair of black jean shorts and a camp T shirt. As I walked to the door of the cabin, Hazel shoved a bag in my hands and pushed me out the door. 

The first thing I noticed was Jason, he was waiting outside my cabin with his signature grin on his face. The sun was just starting to peek over the horizon and everything had an orangy hue to it. Without a word, Jason started walking to where the Argo II  had been parked for the last while. He didn't look back to see if I was following him, which made me feel even more inclined to do so. 

Once we got to the ship, I could see that we were the only ones they were waiting for. Percy was already onboard along with his friend, Grover Underwood the saytr, whom I assumed we were taking with us. We were all below decks when the ship started moving, I wondered who was flying us, though, I guess it could've been magic, I've seen weirder.

Above the ground was amazing. I had never been in an aeroplane before, let alone a magical flying ship with Pegasus stables. Seriously, how many Pegasi would you need on a flying ship?  I Could  see the Empire State Building, though Olympus was still way too high to see.

(Hi guys.....IM SORRY I HAVENT UPDATED IN A WHILE AND THAT THIS SUCKS! It's mostly a filler....and I added Grover at the last minuite but....oh well! I haven't been updating a lot because I have kinda had writers block when I come to write. It'll be like: *sudden burst of inspiration* * opens wattpad* *forgets how to spell definitely* *dies from blank document* ya....and beCAUSE OF A STUPID PROJECT FOR SOCIAL STUDIES! I had to make the Parthenon (if you don't know what that is how/why are you reading this fanfic....you need to know what the Parthenon is to make it through the Heros of Olympus series!) (ok well you don't really but it's a handy peice of information.) well then.....THIS WAS THE SHORTEST CHAPTER EVER! 356 words or whatever! Ugh... I am so disappointed in myself..THE TRIALS OF APOLLO CAME OUT YESTERDAY ! I haven't read it yet so if I get somethings chronologically wrong I'm deeply sorry. Did you know interestingly is a word?
