Believe it or not, I really liked it here. A lot. Everyone was so close to each other and it was fascinating to watch them do their traditions like dancing around the fire as they sang together. I sat back and watched the show as they would giggle and smile.

Most foods were meat, the group that had attacked me were the hunters and they provided everyday. They did pretty good, very skilled I should say. I had volunteered to join them a few times when they went making it a easy day for everyone. Because of my speed and agility I was able to find a prey the moment I let my senses take over and then kill the creature within mer seconds.

These were the days everyone got to relax and have fun as they danced. I had been here for a little over a week. Even the children had grown very fond of me as I would let them climb on me and go for rides, in return I got groomed which always felt nice especially when I was once human. The feeling of want, and love was all around me and I had never felt so happy in my life.

Golden Wing put down her paints as she finished with the rest of the tribe children, painting their faces in many ways and colors for later tonight, one of the tribe members was to get married so it was going to be a big event for everyone.

"Kenna! May I have a word with you?" She asked, of course I nodded, after all she's done for me I am in her gratitude, though it feels opposite. Following her into her medicine hit where she first took me I had a seat in the same spot just as she did the same. Clearing her throat age began to speak.

"Kenna, the village has never been so honored to have someone like you to be here, but I believe it's time for you to move on with your journey, follow your instincts and let them pull you to where you need to go." She said gently, I was taken aback as she told me this. I was to caught up in this tribes home that I forgot about my intentions.

Feeling a bit sad that she was right I only nodded. I did need to get back on track of my life, I had a goal. A goal to kill the ones who had pretty much did the same to me.

Thinking about those men had me raging.

"Calm down. You need to relax before you hurt someone." She said, I didn't realize that my small rage had me standing and fur on stand.

'Sorry!' I apologized.

She only chuckled and stood. "I understand where you are coming from." With that we left the tent to go sit with the others.

Tonight the men had killed a few boars they had been watching come closer to the tribe grounds. My mouth was watering for the fresh kill, they served the food I wanted raw. I watched as the women prepared the meat, skinning it and then hanging the skin up on a fine to dry out to be used as clothing or possible bedding. The way these people lived was amazing, so much different then modern time. Reality.

A reality I have long been lost too.

The meat was cooked and passed around, I got to start eating first since it was raw and didn't need to be cooked. The wonderful taste filled me as I ate it in chunks. A little girl came running up to me, her black hair in braids, bouncing behind her as she approached me.

I gave her a nod, as she jumped up on my back and held onto my fur tightly as I stood up and did a slow trot, this was a daily thing for the kids. They loved it. After putting her down, the next set of kids jumped on my back wanting a ride. Like before I did the same to them as I did for the little girl. I had really gained the love of every tribes member, it was wonderful. I hadn't been loved in a long time, I missed it so much.

The night arrived quickly, I laid down in my bed of skins and slept peacefully, because once morning hits then I'm setting out before many of them wake. It's easier for me not to say goodbye, but depending on how far I get then I will return some day.

Morning

I woke up early like I had planned, jumping out of the tent. No one was in sight.

Walking to Golden Wings tent I stuck my head in too see if she was up, there sitting at the tiny table meditating was Golden Wing, her greeting hair hung loosely around her shoulders as she whispered some words.

Stepping out I laid on the grassy ground and waited for her to finish, I waited only a few minutes before I heard her stop chanting and she popped out with a smile. "Leaving I see?" She asked.

'Yes I am, I would like to visit in the future if that is okay?' I asked uncertain. She laughed at my question.

"Of course dear, you are welcome when ever you wish to be here. Now you should start heading out before everyone wakes up I understand your feelings of goodbyes." She said. I smile a toothy smile before I rubbed my head against her leg in thanking. Then with that I turned and ran out of here. I hope the children won't be too upset. My heart clenched at the thought. The large fence to keep unwanted animals and other tribes out was staring me down as I neared, the front gate was closed, and I didn't have hands to grab it.

Taking a few steps back as I examined the work I started to run my full speed and leap, clearing the spear like fence easily as I flew. I wasn't even close to the tips of the sharp spears.

Honestly I did not know I could jump this high, if I had known that, then I would've jumped away from the tribes men when they were hunting me down. But everything happens for a reason because if I had known I could jump that high I wouldn't have been saved by the elder and I would have never met the tribe and lived their way. It would have been smarter, but I'm guessing fate led me to everything that had happened so I will take it for granted.

I may still have been running around the jungle, lost and unsure of what I wanted to do, I was able to experince love for a short time and find a peice of me, a peice long lost after the day I was supposedly murdered.

My feet touched the ground a short distance away from the very gate that had kept many unwanted things out, but some how managed to let me in. My feet tapped the forest floor ever so slightly, barely touching as I ran at my blinding run. Air rushing through my fur, tail swishing behind me, claws outstretched incase I had to climb for a emergency get away, the sun shown brightly through the leaves as mild dew rolled off the leaves and down to the grounds. I felt free, like I could do anyhting and go anywhere, no one could stop me at this rate.

Which pumped the urge to have a revenge set on the men who had tried destroying me and failed, they would understand what they had caused me and to anyone else they had hurt before me and after.

Imagining the taste of their blood had my fur standing on end as the image continued in my head, their sweet, hot, thick blood rolling down my throat as I sank my teeth deep within their throats, claws digging into their hearts, the very thing keeping them doing all the cruel things they had, and have done.

Death.

Death, would gladly take them I'm sure, pulling them down to the hell's, and to never get a second chance like I had been given.

With the thoughts running through my mind an excited roar peirced the air as I ran, enjoying the sensations Ihad granted myself.
