Some thing was wrong, the air was tainted with some thing bad, it was strong, to the part it was pulling me to the source of it's power.

A coyote sounded a few feet ahead of me, and I noticed there was blood in the odd spot in the dirt, like it was raining. I bent down and touched the dark, stained ground, raising it to my eye level, it gave small tingles in my finger, telling me that it was human blood.

I was going to ignore it when, the pull kept gnawing on my chest, I had to follow it. It called for me.

I walked quickly, pushing through a few bushes, there was at least seven coyotes there, looking at a bloody, naked mess. It was female, and she wasn't breathing anymore. The coyotes were still trying to understand weather or not she was edible.

I made a small ball of black fire, and threw it in front of the closer coyotes to the body, they all jumped back and took a leap in different directions into the forest.

I walked up to her body, from what I could see was that she was young, but it was hard to tell how old she was because of all the knife marks on her face and body. It looked like as if someone had tattooed her...with blood.

Usaually I let the course of nature take it's toll. I hated humans, they were useless, only their soul was good. Thats why I'm all the way out here living in the woods for the last 100 years. But this girl was different. I wanted to keep her safe, keep her to myself.

I put my hand on her chest where her heart was, her skin was warm, she would have just died minutes ago, if not seconds. Her soul was still making it's way to the heavens. When it touches them I won't be able to have it and she'll be just a lifeless body. Unless I bring her back before she crosses over.

It was going to take a lot of energy to do this, not to mention if she was going to live again, she needed a new body. And there is only one body that she had in her. It would be the spirit of everyone's true animal.

The animal is always different, it all depends on what your soul is, like for example this girl is strong and powerful, she could be a bear, or a wolf.

The main ones are eagle, black bear, dog, cat, wolf, deer. Then there is the stranger ones that are rarly ever heard of, but they can be common, polar bear, hawk, moose, chimpanzee. But no more then that, it's nearly impossible to have a different animal because everyone is the same, they treat others the same, and that's what chooses their animal spirit.

I think this girl would be a wolf, she is very strong a bit stronger then anything I have ever sensed. Or it could be a polar bear. Guess I'll just have to see.

I closed my eyes holding her body now. Strange words escaped my mouth as I thought about a spell I had learned through one of my spell books.

A bright light covered her torn up body, she slowly raised in the air, her golden but redish hair flowing underneath her.

When she awakes, she will be in a hell of a lot of pain. It wouldn't bug me though, it would give me some entertainment.

But I wanted her, something was making me drawn to her. It must be her soul. Something I can use for more dark magic. I smiled at the thought. Then I'll heal her body with another spell that will take a few months till it's fixed. Then she'll leave her animal body and enter back to her old body, but it will feel like new.

Then I can use her as a personal slave, for what ever I wanted.

Just then a heartbeat filled the area, at first there was a groan of pain, that quickly turned to a scream. It was peircing. It slowly drowned out, as the light became brighter and then silence.

The light died down, and there was her lifeless body, it was now a empty shell. I whispered another spell and it disappeared, I transferred it to my house down to the basement, where it would be put, magicly in a magic box of glass and it will heal for a few months.

As soon as it disappeared there was another body. I walked up to the unconscious form on the ground. She was breathing heavy.

I've never seen anything like her before. Ever. I didn't know it was possible. I walked up to her still form on the ground, touching her orange fur, with black stripes.

It was soft, this wasn't real, no this wasn't possible, there were no tiger spirits. I turned her over so she was facing me. She had huge sharp teeth, and a snout with long whiskers, with a bit of white fur on her face. I can't believe it. This wasn't possible, I shook my head.

A new body with a soul brought in anger, it was normal, especially now that she was a tiger could only mean, she was VERY powerful.

"Such a strong soul that is now MINE." I sighed, and acting possesive. I brushed back my short brown hair.

I reached down and picked her limp body up. Quickly transporting to my little, shack. It had a spell on it so no one as in humans will find it.

I laid her on my bed, but put a chain around her orange and black neck with a unbreakable collar, I'd treat her like a animal like she is. I didn't need her clawing at me in anger after she finds out that she is a killer animal.

I went to the couch and lay there, falling into a strong deep sleep, from losing so much power on that mere human, I was still having issues understanding why I did it.

But then I fell asleep.

Okay ya i guess that was a bit confusing if u need any clearing just ask me.
