Distress

As you look into my eyes
Hear my cracking voice on the phone
Can you tell what I am going through?
No, you can't
You are blind to my pain
If you look into eyes
You will see blue
But, sadness hides in there to
If you here me call you
Do you hear that I am trying not to cry
If you would care to question my attire You would be surprised by what you find
By how much one can hate themselves
If you can sense something is wrong when we say we are ok
Then you can tell what distress i am in
Then you are worth keeping close
You must be one of my saviours
But, most can't see my pain
And If they do
Then, they give up on me
I learned that the ones I keep close
Want me to stay
Live
Have a family
Make mistakes
Prove them wrong (Bullies)
Help protect others
And most of all
Get better and learn to
Smile again
