So I bet that you are all thinking, "So, why is your OC so weak?" Well, good reader... Just you wait, just you wait. This is Orochimaru we're talking about...
------------------------------
Jiraiya stole all of Naruto's money to go to a brothel. What a class act for a sensei... Naruto was busy training to his little heart's content, trying to master the newly heard of rasengan, and Jiraiya was out being lecherous so I was left quite alone and bored. 'I do have pretty good chakra control because of my medical ninjutsu and chakra sensing abilities. I wonder if I could do it...' Leaving the town that I was aimlessly wandering around, I found a nice, secluded area to try it in. Focusing all of my chakra to my right hand, I pictured the rasengan. I thought about my chakra swirling and spinning at an incredibly fast rate. I watched the light blue mass in my hand start to form... Was I going to do this in my first try?!
BOOM!
Nope, it just exploded in my face. Sighing, I stood up to try again. After about thirty or forty tries, I was running low on chakra, in a foul mood, and my hair looked like it gotten into a fight with a whirlwind and lost. I was standing in a cater of my own creation and letting the foul mouth, that I usually hide, fly. Cursing, I kicked a rock that I thought was loose on the ground, but it wasn't. It was buried deep and didn't budge at all. Now I was jumping up and down holding my foot and cursing like a trucker on an icy road.
"I never would have thought that you could have a mouth like that if you wanted." I froze mid curse.
"Damn rock! Duck-fucking, sedimentary Satan- Itachi! What the hell are you doing here?!" I was shaking with fear. Naruto was gone, Jiraiya was gone, Kakashi was in a coma, and I was standing there holding my pulsing foot and almost totally out of chakra with a fully rested and ready member of the Akatsuki in front of me. Needless to say, I was about ready to faint with sheer fear. There was no way that this was going to end well.
"I am not here to fight or capture you. If I was, I would already have you by now." He was right about that. Slowly calming my breathing, I sat on the ground and began healing my big toe.
"So you're here to talk, then start talking. I can't guarantee that I'll have anything to say to you after what you did to Kakashi and Sasuke, though."
"I could have done much worse to them. Any other member of the Akatsuki would have done much worse. But, that's not what I'm here for. I need to know what you have seen of my past. What do you know?"
The cool and calm Uchiha looked almost frantic. "Nothing." He visibly relaxed. "But, I do know that there has to be more to you... I really liked you back in my old world unlike how much I hate you right now so there must be something that you're hiding."
"Good, that's all I came to know. I was never here and you never spoke to me. That will make it much easier for both of us to go back to our comrades." He looked at the crater that I was standing in. "I don't think that the rasengan is the jutsu for you. You might want to look into a change in chakra form that better fits your fighting style." And with that he disappeared leaving me sitting on the ground still holding my dumb foot with a dumb look on my face. A S-ranked criminal, member of a secret society of all-powerful evil ninja, mass murderer of his own family, and enemy to my village had just stopped by for a little chat. And, he had offered me a helpful tip about my jutsu while he was at it. That was not what I had expected... But, what on earth did he mean by a change in chakra form that matched my personal style? When I saw Jiraiya next, I was going to ask him for some chakra litmus paper, maybe knowing my element would make this easier.
Straightening out my messed up hair and clothes and trying to mask the shock that was still evident on my face from Itachi's visit, I made my way back to where Jiraiya, Naruto, and I were going to meet up at the end of the day.
Jiraiya's face was flushed from sake and he had a stupid grin on his face. 'I don't even want to know...' Naruto looked totally beat up but happy.
"Ana! Ana! I mastered the fist step in learning the rasengan, believe it!"
"Cool, Naruto."
"What'd you do today?"
"Oh, I just practiced my chakra control some." 'And ran into a member of the Akatsuki.' "Speaking of which, Jiraiya, do you have any chakra litmus paper? I'm really curious about my nature release."
"Trying to master a change in nature already, are you?"
"Nah, just really curious." I was thinking about what Itachi had said.
"Yeah, I've got a couple of sheets. We'll take a look at the inn tonight." With that, the three of us set off towards the next town on our search for Tsunade.
"Here you go." Jiraiya was sobered up by now. I wouldn't let him into my hotel room until then. Taking the small square of paper in my hands, I focused my chakra into the paper. Instead of becoming wet for water style, crumbling to dust for earth style, slicing in half for wind style, crinkling for lightning style, or burning to a crisp for fire style, it did a weird combination of all five at once. And it did it with a bang. Jiraiya's face was covered in soot and his eyes were wide. I can only assume that my own face looked similar.
"What. The. Hell." Jiraiya was staring at me with wide eyes.
"I have no idea... Does this mean that I have equal affinity for all of the elements?"
"No, for mixed chakra natures, a combination of the expected results happens. That only happens when someone has kekkei genkai. But you don't have kekkei genkai where you come from, and they didn't combine. It just blew up in our faces."
"So my chakra natures won't mix? That would explain earlier today..." I didn't mean to say that last part out loud.
"What happened earlier today?"
"Oh, I was bored so I tried to teach myself the rasengan. Gathering the chakra and spinning it was easy, but every time I would get it started, it would just blow up in my face. Kind of like the litmus paper, but at a much larger scale."
"You found the change in form easy?!"
"Yeah, I got it on my first try, why?" Jiraiya just shook his head incredulously.
"I just really want to know what's up with your chakra. Once we find Tsunade, you can ask her about it. She might be able to figure out what's going on with her medical ninjutsu." I nodded, not trusting my words. 'Was Itachi able to see this with his sharingan? Does he know something about this that I don't? What did he mean about something that fits my personal style? I've been a ninja for just over three months, I don't have my own style yet!' "Ana? Ana, are you still with me?" I snapped out of my thoughts.
"Sorry, Jiraiya, I just got distracted..."
"That's understandable. I am going to go and check on that kid. See you in the morning." After Jiraiya left the small room, I wiped the soot off my face and stared down at my hands. What the hell was going on?
--------------------------------
What's up with Ana's chakra... Hmm... Who am I kidding? I already know. It's almost like I already know everything that's going to happen! Gasp! No way.
Sorry, I don't know why I'm so salty right now, but I am. See you at the next update!! :)
