This was the song that Maine used to sing wholeheartedly when her ex boyfriend broke her heart.
She was so broken and depressed when he left.
It felt like her whole world collapsed and there was no point in living anymore.
She used to sing this song every Valentines Day. It just became a ritual for her. Just for a remembrance of what used to be.
This year was no exception. She will sing this song again, but this time, it doesn't mean anything anymore.
