Incoming Call Tyler Joseph
You clicked on 'accept call', Tyler's face appeared on the screen and you smiled.
"Hey Tyler."
"Hey (Y/N)"
"How's things going in Ohio?" You asked, Tyler had been your friend for many years now but you had never met in person.
It was a standard internet friendship, but after texting, calling, and skype calling him for a long time, you had developed a sort of crush on him.
"It's good, but that's not why I called. I wanted to show you something."
"Yeah?" You were intrigued now, the camera was blocked for a second as he leaned forward.
"Hold on I've got to figure out how to set this up."
There was a lot of odd sounds and the camera shook a lot, you got a blurry view of his room that you had seen a bunch of times in past Skype calls.
"Ow!" He yelled tripping over something.
"You okay?" You laughed.
"Don't laugh at me (Y/N)." Tyler gave you his cheery giggle.
The laptop was set down on a surface that gave you a view of his face again, you assumed it was his piano looking at the background knowing what was on the wall opposite it.
An-nyŏng-ha-se-yo
The piano had a lively build up.
Sometimes you've got to bleed to know,
That you're alive and have a soul,
But it takes someone to come around to show you how. She's the tear in my heart, I'm alive,
She's the tear in my heart, I'm on fire,
She's the tear in my heart, Take me higher,
Than I've ever been. The songs on the radio are ok,
But my taste in music is your face,
And it takes a song to come around to show you how. She's the tear in my heart, I'm alive,
She's the tear in my heart, I'm on fire,
She's the tear in my heart, Take me higher,
Than I've ever been.Than I've ever been
Than I've ever been
Than I've ever beenYou fell asleep in my car, I drove the whole time,
But that's ok, I'll just avoid the holes so you sleep fine,
I'm driving here I sit, cursing my government,
For not using my taxes to fill holes with more cement. You fell asleep in my car, I drove the whole time,
But that's ok, I'll just avoid the holes so you sleep fine,
I'm driving here I sit, cursing my government,
For not using my taxes to fill holes with more cement.Sometimes you've got to bleed to know,
That you're alive and have a soul,
But it takes someone to come around to show you how. She's the tear in my heart, I'm alive,
She's the tear in my heart, I'm on fire,
She's the tear in my heart, Take me higher,
Than I've ever been.My heart is my armor,
She's the tear in my heart, she's a carver,
She's a butcher with a smile, cut me farther,
Than I've ever been.Than I've ever been
Than I've ever been
Than I've ever beenMy heart is my armor,
She's the tear in my heart, she's a carver,
She's a butcher with a smile, cut me farther,
Than I've ever been.He finished out the song and you were smiling. Tyler didn't have to explain, you already knew.
"You're too sweet Ty."
"Nah, I had the idea and I figured that I would write it for you." He smiled again, those chipmunk cheeks got you with his squinty eyes.
It was quiet as the two of you just looked at each other.
"(Y/N)," he cleared his throat and you knew it was getting serious. "I really really like you. If you couldn't tell from the song."
"I guess your taste in music really is my face." You felt something on your face but you weren't sure what.
"No, no, no, please don't cry."
"What?" You patted at your face. "I didn't even know I was crying, sorry."
"So,"
"So?"
"Can I come visit you?" He asked with the nervousness of a preteen boy asking his crush to the school dance.
"Of course."
"Great!"
Just then Josh came in the room eating a bowl of ramen noodles.
"What's going on?"
"Hey Joshy." You waved.
"Oh hey (Nickname)."
Tyler turned around to look at Josh with a rather annoyed look.
"Oops, I ruined the moment, sorry guys! Bye (Y/N)!"
You laughed. "I'll see you soon Ty."
"I love you."
"Love you too."
She's the tear in my heart, I'm alive.
