Corey and y/n are walking hand in hand beside me. They have this really special bond. Their relationship is goals. To be honest, im jealous of Corey. Like y/n, shes a real special girl. Shes pretty, kind, sweet, talented and just perfect.

I really, really like her. I wish she was mine. It makes me sad to see her loved by my best friend. I don't know what to do.

"Hey guys, what do when you grow up?" Y/n asks, I think shes knows its getting a bit awkward

"Well, hopefully I'll still be able to act" I answer, because I know full well its not easy to go from child actor to adult actor.

"Same here, but its harder to become an adult actor than a child star" Corey says

"What about you y/n?" I ask her, she bites her lip, suddenly bringing some  thoughts to my mind, you know, the typical teenage boy thoughts, I dont think I have to elaborate much about what I'm thinking

"Um, I want to be an actress to be honest" she says

"Well, we can help with that" corey says, she smiles

"That would be nice, well if acting doesnt work out, what do you want to be"

"A singer" corey says, hes pretty good at it too

"Um, I dont know" I say, I have always wanted to be an actor, but music would be nice too I guess" I say

"I was thinking either an artist or musician" y/n says

"Your really good at both" I tell her

"You think?" She asks

"Sincerely" I nod

"Babe, you can do anything" corey tells her

"The lake is just down there" she points out

"Hey, we'll catch up" corey says, im guessing he wants to talk to me

"Ok, sure" she says and walks along the shore line

"Yeah" I say

"I know what your like with girls man. Please just dont try anything with her." He asks. He was being so damn sincere.

"Yes man, I wont" I agree

"Ok man, I trust you" he sighs "anyway, what have you been up to lately?"

"Just been chillin', you?"

"Waiting to see what I got from my previous audition" he says

"Oh yeah. What movie was it again?" I ask

"Stand by Me" he smiles

"Man I bet your gonna get it" I say, that's what friends do

"If yah think"

"Bro, i know"

"I haven't told y/n about the audition yet, so don't tell her ok" he asks

"Sure man" and we shake on it

"Your the best Haimster, gotta luv yah" Corey says and messes up my hair

"I know, I know" I laugh

"Ok, let's go" Corey says and we walk back to y/n

"Hey babe" feldman says as he walks up behind you and wraps his arms around your waist and kisses your neck

"The lake sure is pretty with the moonlight and all" you say

"It has quite a romantic edge to it aye, you love birds" haim says smiling
