Dark Pit or Pit x Reader

Pit 2: (11-11-2016)

The next morning you wake up lying in bed with pit behind you. His arm draped lazily over you as he sleeps a victorious half smile plastered on his face. You can't help but smile too he just looks so peaceful and so damn adorable when he's asleep. You glance up at the top bunk of the bunk bed and notice pittoo is already gone. "Strange I wonder where he ran off to so early." You remembered how much fun you had the night before. Up on stage with everyone singing karaoke. You never pegged link for a country boy but it didn't really surprise you either. A shift in the bed told you pit was waking up.

Pit: *half asleep* "morning..."

You: "morning pit."

Pit snuggles closer putting his face in-between your wings. "I slept so good last night. I didn't even have that recurring nightmare where I'm trapped in the underworld and the demons keep trying to rip my wings off." He shudders a bit.

"A dream? You've dreamed this more than once?" you question.

He nods. "oh yes... a nightmare about... that time medusa enslaved the light angels... you remember right?"

That was a dumb question how could you forget. The demon army led by medusa had come to angel land and captured everyone even pit. The cries of the many other angels while you were helpless often swam through your head. You recalled that somehow pit had managed to escape and save everyone but you didn't know how nobody ever told you. You think back as the smell of that awful place seems to be all around you again. "Let's hope we never have to go back there."

"Agreed." Pit wakes up the rest of the way but still looks drowsy. "You want to come with me I'm going to hit up that coffee place next door to here." He stands up and sleepily goes to the closet drops his old clothing in his basket and changes into a new outfit.

"Sure!" you smile and climb out of bed. "I also need to buy some new clothing today at some point."

Pit nods and fixes his crown. "Yeah that sounds like fun too."

You and pit go next door, of the brawl hall, to get a cup of coffee. You notice a lot of the brawlers are in this place including Ness, Lucas, Fox, Falco, Wolf, Krystal, and the Mario brothers. Pit goes to the counter leans one arm on the bar top and smiles. "Morning deb."

"Oh pit good morning." A middle aged woman wearing the coffee house uniform greets pit. "Your usual today?"

"Aww you know me so well deb. Thanks." Pit smiles. "This is (y/n) she's new to brawl hall." He leans over the counter to whisper but you still hear him because he isn't good at being quiet. "She's my girlfriend."

You hold back a giggle. How many people had he said that to? This was the first you were hearing of any girlfriend business. You stand behind pit and smile politely. "Nice to meet you deb."

Deb's eyes light up and she smiles. "That's great pit you finally got you a girl. That's so sweet." She hands him a small box of donuts and a hot coffee. "One usual pit style glazed donuts with pudding filling and a sweet coffee."

Pit smiles. "Thanks deb." He hands her a wad of crumpled up dollar bills from his pocket and then devours one of the donuts.

Deb turns to you. "What are you having dear?"

"Um... just a coffee I think... one scoop sugar 3 of cream." You say trying to measure the cream and sugar in your head based off the serving sizes posted on the board. <- not too sweet but smoothly not black.

"alright." Deb measures it all out and hands you a cup. "Here you go. Enjoy."

"thanks." You sit with pit while he crams donut after donut into his mouth.

"These are sooooo good!" he smiles. "You want one?"

He gives you a donut you stare at it slightly confused. "Donut? Am I saying that right?" you've never left angel land so all human food was new to you. You try the donut. "That's fantastic!"

"Yeah I know right!" pit agrees.

After enjoying the donuts and coffee the two of you make your way to the mall where you and pit spend an hour in the clothing store trying new outfits on. Every time you tried one he'd go nah do another. So it took you a few outfits before you finally convinced him you had the right one. You buy your outfit in 5 different colors and leave with pit back towards the brawl hall. As you're walking Palutena appears in front of you.

Palutena: "how dare you disobey my direct order to never leave the castle?"

You: "I can ex..."

Pit: "it's my fault..."

Palutena: "pit...?"

Pit: "she didn't want to go... I kind of made her... but you're wrong to keep her locked up! She's an excellent brawler... and..."

Palutena: "do not question my rules now after so long pit... I expected this treachery from pittoo... but not from you..."

Pit: "you don't understand..."

Palutena: "what is there not to understand?"

Pit: "remember two days ago you told us go out and find somebody to care about."

Palutena: "yes. I tell that to all my angels..."

Pit: "well I found her..."

Palutena: look a bit startled. "You found... her?" she looks at you. "And does she return that feeling?"

You: "of course I do."

Pit: *smiles.* "see... but if there is punishment to be given then... give it to me."

Palutena: *thinking* "I suppose I don't really see a reason to punish you pit... and if what you say is true then I can hold no ill will towards (y/n) either." *looks at pit.* "if you believe that she would be fit on earth with you then I ask only one thing..."

Pit: "anything!"

Palutena: "you will be responsible for anything she may do... and if she turns out to betray you in the end then you shall have to suffer the same punishment as her."

Pit: "ok!"

You stay super quiet unsure what Palutena is even talking about. You've never given her any reason to distrust you. And pit so willingly defended you.

Palutena: "very well... I'll leave it to you then..." *disappears.*

Pit turns to you and smiles. "See I told you she wasn't all that bad."

You stare at him completely baffled. "Did you even hear what she said? She seems very sure I'm like out to get her or something..."

Pit grins "yeah, but you're not right?"

"No" you say startled. "I don't know why she would even think so."

"Then I guess we haven't got anything to worry about. So I don't know why you're worried." Pit grins.

"y-you... really put that much blind faith in somebody you just met..." you ask.

Pit nods. "Of course... even pittoo has my complete trust. And he knows it. Thats why he always toes that line, he like to pick on me. But it's ok because I know he has my back when it comes down to it." He smiles. "And you won't betray Palutena because that isn't the kind of person you are."

"How are you so sure?" you question.

"I'm a great judge of character." Pit grins. "Come on let's get back to the brawl hall and train for the tournament."
